extermination of a national, racial, political, or cultural group.
TARGETS The group(s) of people who
are harmed by acts of genocide.
PERPETRATORS The ones who plan, incite or encourage
acts of genocide.
HENCHMEN The ones who carry out the physical
acts of genocide.
ONLOOKERS Parties outside of the place where
genocide is occurring, have knowledge of the events and the ability to intervene, but refrain from doing so.
BYSTANDERS Parties present where the genocide is
taking place, but choose not to act or get involved.
RESCUERS The person(s) that put a stop to the acts
of genocide.
METHODS USED ACTS committed with intent to destroy the
