Roman Homes

• Lower class lived in apartment houses called flats•Upper class lived in single-family homes with the whole family (great grandparents, grandparents, parents and kids)•Atrium- a courtyard in the middle of large homes

Roman Religion•Believed in many different gods and goddesses•Worshipped same gods as the Greeks, but gave them different names•Prayed to gods and brought offerings•Built temples to honor gods and created myths (stories) to explain nature
