Day 1: Arrive CuscoPlease be aware that some flights into Cusco arrive the same day, and some are overnight. Plan to arrive in Cusco on July 2nd. Accommodations for the night are reserved so that you can become acclimatized to the high altitude—11,000 feet above sea level. Activities begin on July 3rd at 8am. Hotel

Day 2: Cusco As the modern-day starting point for visits to Machu Picchu, we’ll explore the city on foot, then the afternoon’s yours. From Inca buildings, intricate colonial architecture, artisan shops to boutiques & delicious cuisine & adrenaline activities, there are tons of options to experience. Day 3: Cusco to Sacred ValleyToday, we explore the Sacred Valley. We’ll start the day with a guided tour of the Pisac ruins before spending the night in Ollantaytambo, one of Peru’s oldest towns. Day 4: Sacred Valley to Aguas CalientesAdventure & adrenaline await! From biking & hiking to rafting there are lots to experience today before we take the train to Aguas Calientes this afternoon. Hotel (B)*Contact your alumni association on pricing and availability for the 1-day Inca Trail hike.

Day 5: Aguas Calientes to Cusco Wake up early & be among the first to enter Machu Picchu. See the sun rising above the incredible mountain tops. Learn more about the sites as you tour with your guide, and then spend time exploring before returning to the base. Hotel (B)• Tour the Temple of Three Windows,

the ceremonial baths & altar

Day 6: Cusco Feel an adrenaline rush with activities like mountain biking & rafting. Get into Cusco’s amazing nightlife, try a “Cerveza Cusquena” & dance the night away & join our Illary (Sunrise) Club! Hotel (B)

Day 7: Cusco to Jungle Lodge Fly over the Andes to Puerto Maldonado in Peru’s southern jungle. You could hike through the jungle for a canopy climb or walk along the shores with a flashlight to spot caiman, an Amazonian alligator! Later, relax in paradise at our incredible Jungle Lodge. BOOKING CONDITIONSTrip price is per person in US Dollars based on twin-share accommodations and include land trip and internal flights as specified on the map only and do not include international airfares to or from the trip start and end cities. Single rooms may be requested, subject to availability, for an additional charge.

ROOMMATE MATCHING If passengers requesting twin-share accommodations do not have a roommate, we can match them with a same-sex roommate within their own group or from other groups so that they will not have to pay a single supplement.

All passengers must be between the ages of 18 and 35 at the time of travel.

AIR Air rates offered through Contiki Vacations are subject to availability at the time of an individual booking and deposit. Please inquire for details on air rates, schedules and availability.

INSURANCE Travel insurance is mandatory and provided by Contiki in your trip price.

Travel documents will be sent approximately 21 prior to departure.

CANCELLATION POLICYDeposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Individual cancellations outside 46 days prior to departure will forfeit deposits.

Individual cancellations between 45 - 22 days prior to departure incur a 25% cancelation penalty.

Individual cancellations between 21 - 8 days prior to departure incur a 30% cancelation penalty.

Individual cancellations between 7 - 1 day(s) prior to departure incur a 50% cancelation penalty.

Individual cancellations on or after the day of departure incur a 100% cancellation penalty
