The Alan Gresik Swing Shift OrchestraEvery Thursday night since 1998, the Alan Gresik Swing Shift Orchestra has been packing Chicago’s historic Green Mill Jazz Club. This 15-piece tour de force tears it up on stage, performing swing standards in an old-time radio show format, complete with an emcee and actors doing era commercials. Dancers in period costumes can be added as part of the show.

Acoustic Rock Trio If you’re looking for an alternative to a traditional jazz combo, try this ensemble of guitar, bass & drums. This trio creates a fun yet sophisticated instrumental backdrop with unplugged versions of the songs of Marvin Gaye, Steely Dan and Michael Jackson, to name just a few.

Power Rock EnsembleTake an electric guitar, a bass, & drums and you can rev up a crowd with the sounds of strong rock and funk music. Nicholas Barron Trio A popular staple on the Chicago music scene for two decades, Nicholas Barron delivers powerful vocals on blues, rock and soul, and his interpretations of popular tunes have earned him a spot on The New York Times Emerging Artists series. String Ensembles Nothing adds a feel of elegance quite like a chamber music string ensemble. Our ensembles feature many of Chicago’s top classical musicians, most notably Jeff Yang, who has toured with the likes of Mannheim Steamroller and other well-known ensembles.
