• Instructor University of Arkansas @ Monticello Monticello, AR. Spring 2015-present.
Specialize in the teaching of English Composition 1 and 2. Teach 5/5 class loads with one
overload every semester. Advise students. Total Hours taught: 63
• Editor: Philological Review September 2015-present. Created website for the Arkansas
Philological Association and its accompanying journal. Responsible for editing, publishing
and designing two biannual scholarly editions.
• eversity: University of Arkansas System Summer and fall 2015. Worked with four full-time
colleagues to design and launch a freshman English course for the on-line branch of the Uni-
versity of Arkansas system. The six month project involved twice a week teleconferences
which resulted in assessment, remediation, and content design for the course.
• Adjunct East Central College Union, MO. Fall 2009-Fall 2014. Taught Developmental
Writing, English Composition I and English Composition II. Participated in two departmental
common writing assessments to gauge and improve student writing. Presented paper at a
spring 2012 departmental workshop. Total hours taught: 60
• Adjunct Lindenwood University. Fall 2012-Fall 2014. Taught Second Semester Freshman
Composition, and World Literature II. Total Hours Taught: 42
• Adjunct Jefferson College Hillsboro, MO. Fall 2009-Spring 2012.
Taught Developmental Writing, English Composition I, and English Composition II. Also
Taught for one year in Jefferson College’s writing lab, working with students from diverse back-
grounds. Assisted students in the writing lab with writing assignments across the disciplines.
Regularly attended on campus workshops to improve student learning. Participated in depart-
mental common writing assessments to gauge and improve student writing. Total hours taught:
