Big Idea:• The book of Joshua is basically the book of Ephesians illustrated.

Big Need:• Many times our deeds contradict our dreams.

Thesis:• Life is not a matter of

chance but a matter of choice, and you increase your chances when you make the right choices.

Point 1.• Delay is not

denial, but often is for our development.

Point 2.• Some people are

designed to get you to your Promised Land, but not through your Promised Land, but just like God had a Moses, God also has a Joshua.

KEYS TO CROSSING OVER

1. You have to engage in preparation before you are ready for God to give you direction to a destination, 1-5

Definition:• Re-run religion is

where the same drama is going on with the same decisions being made resulting in the same outcome being reached.

Point 3.• The only way you’re going

to deal with the unfamiliar and the unknown is to sanctify yourself.

Definition:• To sanctify means to

let some things go, give some things up, and make yourself clean and clear enough to be set apart for what you know God has to give you.

2. You have to advance in anticipation so you are ready for God to give you anointing for your activity, 6-7

Point 4.• When you

have Jordan-like problems, then gaze at God, but just glance at the problem.

Point 5.• Your impossibility is really

your season of transition, where God is putting you in a new position, so he can fulfill the promise he made to you a long time ago.
