Our mission is to improve the World through actions and financial support of Rotary’s Avenues of Service- Community, Vocational, Inter- national and Youth. Of the 33,000 Rotary Club’s world-wide, we are the fiſth largest. Our 535 members are leaders in their own business or organization, as well as the San Diego community. Our members gener- ously financially support the Club’s projects, and are just as generous with their time through their participation and hands-on involvement. e Rotary motto “Service Above Self” exemplifies the commitment our members have to personally making the World a better place. Dear Fellow Members of San Diego Rotary: is was an eventful year for the San Diego Rotary. Not only did we add over 40 new members, increased partic- ipation in our committees, produced 48 weekly meetings including a memorable Salute To Our Military aboard the USS Midway and experienced over 30 special fellowship and service activities, we most importantly served our lo- cal and international community through your generosity. With the re-establishment of our own Rotary Club of San Diego Foundation we are better positioned to support you, the Club members, in the activities and projects for which you are most passionate. We ask you to take a moment to review all that we have accomplished, and reflect on the positive impact you make in our community and beyond. ank you for all that you have done this year, and for your support into the future. This year we celebrated the 40th anniversary of Camp Enterprise. Since 1976, Camp Enterprise has offered 90 high school Juniors the opportunity to learn from San Diego’s top business leaders in a fun and educational environment. San Diego Rotary and our Foundation channel our commitment to service at home and abroad through four charitable Avenues of Service, which are the foundation of club giving:

Youth Service recognizes the importance of empowering youth and young professionals through leadership development programs. Supported projects include:

• Monarch School for homeless youth• Rotaract Club at San Diego State University• Interact Clubs at Hoover High School; San Diego High School; High Tech High School;• St. Augustine High School; Academy of Our Lady of Peace; Wilson Middle School• Cesar Chavez Elementary School Readers• STEM at the Hoover High School cluster• Girl Scouts• Rotary Youth Leadership Awards• Rotary Youth Exchange• Four Way Test Speech contest• Camp Enterprise

Vocational Service calls on every Rotarian to work with integrity and contribute their expertise to the prob-lems and needs of society. Supported projects include:

• Junior Achievement• Diana Venable Scholarship Fund

Community Service encourages every Rotarian to find ways to improve the quality of life for people in their communities and to serve the public interest. The San Diego Rotary Club members are involved with, and the San Diego Rotary Foundation directly funds, the following projects:

• Military Affairs• Don’t Wait Vaccinate• Rotarians At Work• After School Youth Tennis• Senior Assist Fund• Small Club Joint Venture

International Service exemplifies our global reach in promoting peace and understanding. We support this service avenue by sponsoring or volunteering on international projects, seeking partners abroad, and more. The San Diego Rotary Club members are involved with, and the San Diego Rotary Foundation directly funds, the following projects:
