AEIS Surplus Fund Balance ReportAs required by AIB (LEGAL), the AEIS report “must

include a statement of the amount, if any, of the District’s unencumbered surplus fund balance as of the last day of the preceding fiscal year and the percentage of the preceding year’s budget that the surplus represents”

As of August 31, 2011, the District’s unencumbered surplus fund balance was $2,314,438 (surplus)

$2,314,438 equals 20% of the total operating budget for the preceding school year.
