The Power of Community Healing
Rise by lifting others
Only with your support is our work possible
MESSAGE FROM THEEXECUTIVE DIRECTORROBERT SHERMAN
BOARDOFTRUSTEES
As human beings, we long for connections – an unconcious bond that creates the astonishing power of community, the bridge between oneself and the world. Isolation regularly leads to illness and suffering – while that which promotes a sense of connection and community – is healing. Today, on behalf of St. Anthony’s Hospital Foundation we thank every one of you. Thank you for your selflessness. For rising to the task and sharing the responsibility to heal our community so that no one stands alone. For coming together to confirm the power of community healing. We open our eyes of faith and see the good things God has in store for the future health of St. Petersburg.
Standing in solidarity; I am,

DESIRED OUTCOMES
CLINICALEDUCATION
The advances in medicine are astounding, making it necessary to update the skills of clinical staff to care for tomorrow’s patient today. This becomes particularly apparent when it comes to surgical procedures. As we attract physicians leading the way with new techniques, we must train surgical staff on the knowledge of these new procedures. In 2016, the Foundation supported nearly $30,000 worth of “in-house” training including grand rounds seminars, and the opportunity to attend professional conferences and seminars – bringing back newfound information and skills to share with colleagues.
