Lil' mermaid by Linda Oregel

Those big eyes of yours peeking out of a wave, they are looking at me

with the persuation to play.

All your red tangled springs They’ve shaped a crown though the amusing waves

keep slipping it down.

Look at your smile it shows pure joy and even the sand

can see how you enjoy.

Page 4: Antología de Poemas UNINTER 2015-1

It wakes you up for it can't wait get up real fast don't let it blast It dashes out

you trip downstairs mud, bugs and grass don't like to wait

The door is a wall of light cross it and you will find

All the wonders that nature has It blinds your sight But then you realize

You've become it All hurry and joy

The air, the unknown, all there's to feel

Is yours to conquer not to fear You beat, get beaten And when the day ends You realize you're tired And head home again

Lay down and wait..

For it will surely come again

Amidst a sea of grass

While jumping through the stars Fighting plastic pirates, There is a little lass

Who you will hear roar To scare monsters away from her door

For today she is the boy Who would never grow up.

Adventurous girl called Peter,

Whose sword’s made out of glitter, With a group of made-up lost boys She’ll find treasures in her toys

And then gift them to the mermaids, For treasures are their greatest joy.

Growing up will be tough:

no more adventures: no more fun; but of one thing that kid’s certain,

now being really, really old: adventure is still out there,

maybe not in Neverland, but if you look hard enough it may someday surprise you.

Never to land by Karla Rebeca Vargas García

As the ring songs I start to jump

the class is over and I can go so I run out of classroom and jump down one floor.

Some grins and handshakes I share with my friends but very deep inside, the magician wants to go away

he flies through the schoolyard as I walk out the hall.

The street is crowded and with a lot of noise but it aint be no problem for both of us I close my eyes when the wind blows

and by the time I wake up right there is my home

I fly to my bedroom as fast as I can I dress in my robe and put on the hat

the magician says: “but there´s still a gap” so I tie the belt tight and wield the wand straight.

The night trips and falls as the stars start to shine

I´ve played the whole day so I need to unwind I slip into bed and close my eyes so my dreams might come alive.

YOU SHOULD HAVE STAYED AWESOME by Alejandra Valeria López Landa

It’s eight p.m. and the memories start to flow Sweet nostalgic, Will you ever let me go?

I don’t want to forget But this is a threat

You’re a sad, overwhelming and dumb show

I had fun, but there just isn’t the same glow All the joy that happened, every memory, was long ago

There’s nothing to regret Nothing to be upset

But, except for this act to winnow

You should have stayed awesome for the entire show Maybe it’s that nobody told you, fans may let you go

Drop that cold sweat And set that jet

Leave alone and please don’t let me know.

Swinging from limb to limb A toy knife between my teeth Living the wonder of a dream Of love, of killing and a sail.

My heart set on a mission

The wisps of reality obscene As I cut down the oppressor and set the world free

With a stab, a strike, a slit.

The visions of the deep sea storms Forcing me to toss and tumble on the grass

As the unimaginative adults just stared and wondered… Could it be this child is mad?

And the screams and shouts, Ahoy!

The gurgling of slit throats The sweet, sweet song

Of my even sweeter lady.

The Tiger of Malaysia by Enrique Fuentes

But most of all was love, unreachable and deep Profound as the thrusts of my undulated kris.

A face so clear in my imagination, A hallucination of blue eyes and golden curls.

And most of all above the most Was my men´s love and loyalty Their willingness to die for me At the drop of a pirates hat.

The tiger on his ship

Traversing through the twilight with his brother The breezes: a song just barely heard The certatinty of success an epitaph.

My mind slips back to Momparcem…

EXTINCTION by José Luis

When I realize

You`re leaving me fast I start to think

How life has our past

I can’t explain how angry I am Because life´s stealing the most beloved I have

I can’t stand one more day I’m living afraid

Perhaps I don’t show totally angry

But inside of me there’s an emptiness The only thing I have to wait for

Is the cruel ending

Dear Ceci by Linda Oregel

Who do you think you are?

you're so annoying and despicable. You spend the time flattering around...

I'm gonna tell you the truth Your personality is so ugly

that it seems like you're wasting your youth.

Yet we have to share the space my mood is not enough prepared

to spend all afternoon looking at your face.

I can't stand your bad jokes you're so annoying...

I really need you to shut up.

I wish this turn to end soon and I'll ask my manager

not to put me again with you.

LALALA by Amairani

It's beyond unfair That I'm trapped to feel this way

It's everything but a fun fair I just wish to go away

What the hell is wrong!

Why do I have to do this alone? Face this demon that´s in control

Will I be strong?

No demons in hell, they´re all in your head by Josaid Alejandre

The heat rises up

the flames start to burn and my eyes reflect nothing

but deadly fires of doom.

My mind goes crazy as my body shakes I want to go away

but I can´t stop feeling the pain.

Whispers, screams and demons appear my heart is thumping while logic dims

my breathing speeds up like a buffalo instead and the mirror show´s: another person, insane

Boom, Crack

I have lost my way, I try to calm down but it´s totally useless Boom, Crack

I have gone insane, I see what I´ve done and want to look away

Boom, Crack I´m already dead, the sparks are over and ashes cover my way.
