The Center, formerly the Maryland Sudden Infant DeathSyndrome Information and Counseling Program (SIDS),was established in 1975 by the State of Maryland to comply

with the mandates of the SIDS act of 1974. The grant was co-written by Dr. G as he founded the Maryland SIDS Program. He strongly believed in the mission and vision of this institution.He was an active supporter, always challenging everyone to thinkbeyond the parameters of the program. The dedication he had tohis craft was unfaltering. Caring forinfants, children, and their familieswas his life’s work. His resoluteappreciation for the Center andthe Department of Pediatricswas characteristicallydemonstrated by hisattendance at the AnnualSIDS Golf Invitationaland Annual PediatricHoliday Celebration.Dr. G was known for hisability to create revelry andlaughter everywhere he went,and we invite you to celebratehis life through an event that would meet with his complete approval.
