www.milfordschools.org “Rated Excellent In Ohio” On Wednesday, Mulberry Elementary will be joining other schools and organizations around the district, state, and country in honoring the veterans who have served our country. Every year, Mulberry invites these honored guests into our building to have breakfast and enjoy an assembly performed by our students as a small way of saying “Thank You” for all they have done. The assembly includes musical performances, the reading of essays about Veteran’s Day, and a short video of what freedom means to the students and staff at Mulberry. All of our Mulberry family is invited to join us at the assembly to honor these guests. If you would like to attend, the assembly will start on November 11 th at 9:30 AM. We hope to see you there! We are also collecting items for our troop boxes to be sent to “Troop Box Ministries” for distribution to our troops serving overseas. Your child’s teacher will be sending home a list of suggested donations. We will be collecting items through next week, so please be sure to send these items in. Everyone have a terrific weekend! Congratulations to the October Students- of-the-Month who joined Mr. Zawodny for a Burger King lunch on Wednesday! This is a select group of students honored each month for their positive effort toward academics. The students were: Elijah Baron, Emmie Bell, Jaylen Bernal, Baylie Brewer, Lexi Clements, Gram Clifton, Keeda Colyer, Mason Cooper, Ella Crompton, Dawson Daniels, Lincoln Ferguson, Elijah Helton, Logan Hopper, Brody Johnson, Jimmy Masten, Drew McDulin, Anna Metzger, Preston Miller, Colin Peng, Gillian Roeder, Kylie Rutter, Neveah Smith, Caleb Violet, and Eli Wood. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL!!! MISSING A COAT, HAT, MITTENS, LUNCH BOX, ETC??? Mulberry’s “Lost & Found” is already overflowing! Please come in or have your student check for any missing belongings. Speaking of coats and hats, please make sure your student is dressed for the weather! We will go out for recess whenever possible so students should be prepared to bundle up! Please consider marking your child’s name on all outerwear and lunchboxes!

On Wednesday, Mulberry Elementary will be joining other schools and organizations around the district, state, and country in honoring the veterans who have served our country. Box Tops: Way to go, MULBERRY!!! We had a great number of Box Tops turned in for a fall drive: 13,405 box-tops with bonus points, which is $1,340!!!!!!! BIG KUDOS to all the individuals who helped in this effort. It was so

great to see box-tops bundled and sorted in groups of 50 already. It made the job so much easier. Thanks again to

Lauren McCain and the wonderful volunteers for everything!

AND THE WINNER IS....Mrs. Wannamaker’s class with 1,388 total Box top points!! Congratulations! Your class

will get a free movie afternoon! Start saving now for the Spring Drive!

Volunteers Opportunities: Calling all volunteers….we are in need of volunteers for several events throughout the

year. We have evening events, Saturday events, and events during the day. Our next event is Breakfast with Santa on Dec. 5th. If you are able to help out or have any questions about the event, please contact Carla Rawlins at

[email protected] . We are also looking for Chair positions for next year. ****Vendors***** We are looking for vendors to set up during our Santa Shop.
