diffrent parts of Didim.Apollo Temple is on of the twelve deities, the first temple was built in the 8th century B.C and the most magnificent temple of the times.DidymaDidyma (old name of Didim) was also destroyed during the Persian onrushes and with the help of Alexander the great the Temple of Apollo was rebuilt bigger and beter.WhileWhile walking around the Temple, a local man told us the story about the face that is shown all around Didim. This face is Medusa and she would watch over the temple. He told us that she would turn anyone Evil into Stone by use of her eyes.
