Letter From the CEO
By all accounts, 2014 was a great year for AppleCare, with the launch of several new initiatives and locations, and unprecedented growth across our business. And if these first few months are any indication, I believe 2015 will bring even more excitement and success. Please know that I directly attribute these successes to the hard work and dedication of all of you, the AppleCare team. As we look ahead to the remaining three quarters of 2015, I would like to focus on five key initiatives:
Organizational Excellence and Standardization – There has been significant progress over the past few years, and this year we will continue to refine and develop our Policies and Procedures as well as our Standard Operating Processes. The goal is to ensure that the patient experience is consis-tent across all AppleCare clinics.
Pod Empowerment – Through the sharing of more information, allow Pod leadership more au-tonomy, responsibility and accountability so that the clinics are more engaged in the company’s performance. Health care is very local and we trust our local AppleCare teammates to engage and deliver on our Core Values; Quality, Compassion, Effectiveness, Trust and Teamwork!
Alignment Initiative – We want to ensure that every job function and role is connected to Apple-Care’s Core Values and Vision. Therefore, we are developing and implementing job descriptions, performance reviews and tools that are aligned with the company’s Core Values and Vision.
Employer Services – Integrate our Occupational Health, Workers’ Compensation and AppleCare Advantage Plan into a cohesive marketing plan, and deliver services to employers in an organized and structured manner.
Marketing and Advertising – Continue with our local grassroots efforts and leverage our partner, DXM, with large-scale marketing, advertising and digital media. This year looks to be another year of growth for AppleCare, as we just celebrated our newest clinic addition in Pooler, and we are initiating plans to open two new clinics later this year. The first of these new clinics will be located in Macon, GA, and the second will be another joint venture with Memorial Health in Savannah. Stay tuned for more information about these plans over the next few months! Finally, as always, I would like to thank you all for everything you do to make AppleCare a success, and a wonderful place to work. Your hard work and dedication is noticed and appreciated by all of us.
Chase Finley, CEO
April 2015
As we continue our partnership with DX Marketing to help increase brand awareness, and drive patients to our centers, we’ll be moving into the Spring with our $19.99 Spring Sports Physical.
The AppleCare family continues to grow, and in February, we added our 14th location with the strategic partnership of the Memorial Health | AppleCare Urgent Care in Pooler. After renovations, the new location opened in Godley Station with a ribbon cutting event that was attended by AppleCare and Memorial Health physicians, support staff, and Pooler Mayor, Mike Lamb.

HR CornerGOALS, VALUES AND VISION
As we get into the heart of 2015, I am excited to announce that we have finalized this year’s Performance Objectives!
As we begin to lay the foundation for providing regular performance feedback to everyone in the organiza-tion, this is an important milestone in our organizational development. Through this process of goal setting, measurement, and achievement, we are building a culture where incremental improvements are identified and celebrated.
While achieving these objectives (goals) will help us support our Company Vision – providing quality and convenient healthcare services for our communities – the manner or ‘style’ in which we accomplish these goals is equally important.
The AppleCare culture is based on five very important words – Quality, Effectiveness, Compassion, Team-work, and Trust – the AppleCare Core Values.
Our Core Values provide a framework for defining how we function as an organization, both internally with each other, and externally supporting our communities. Each of these values is demonstrated every day by your individual and collective decisions, actions and interactions with each other, our patients and the com-munity at large. In short, our core values are alive through you!
As we strive to exemplify our company vision, we want to continue to set and achieve goals in a manner that is consistent with what is right for our patients, our employees, and the AppleCare organization. I look for-ward to working with each of you as we align goals and values to work toward our vision in 2015!
Planting the Seeds Since March of 2014, AppleCare’s growth has provided the opportunity to create seven new roles with-in the organization. All seven have been filled with internal candidates!
What are you doing to prepare yourself for the next opportunity?
