The coordinated CollectionHomage to Toiny and to The Studio

Hello my friends, I’m again here with a

new small booklet for you. The success of

latest copies was huge, that’s I thought to

continue this adventure. If you have ever

visited Digitalscrapbookingstudio.com,

you probably already know what I’m

going to say. I started selling at The Stu-

dio a few years ago and I immediate-

ly felt in love. Please, let me talk about

one of the most talented and friendly

shop owner I have ever met: Toiny. Be-

fore to meet her, I had a smaller view

of the digital scrap business world. Even

if I always worked pretty seriously and

as more professionally as possible. But

when I met Toiny, I said:

“Oh yes, I finally meet someone

who knows how to deal with

digital scrap-booking business;”

I was amazed. She is absolute inside

the business, she has a great knowledge

of marketing strategies, social networks

benefits and she has the charm of the

leader. She’s able to keep the team

united, because everybody loves her.

She has been always so kind with me

and I certainly didn’t need this space to

thank her, because I told her I much I

love her thousand of times.

Oh by the way, on next days a new soft-

ware will be launched and The Studio

will run a new e-shopping system, one

of the most advanced, full of wonderful

functionalities for the customers.

So please stay tuned! Europeans cus-

tomers cannot purchase yet, I know.

Even after the migration to the new

site, they won’t be able to purchase. But

please do not despair, they’re doing all

the possible to speed up the process of

reactivation.

“What’s the coordinated collec-

tion?”

The Studio, like the most of the digital

scrap stores nowadays, organizes a co-

ordinated collection where designers

contribute with their own portion. Each

designer makes her own collection, with

same common palette. Themes can be

different.

Apples and TomatoesI love eating and I love cooking

Let me say that I loved to do this col-

lection. The colors were absolutely funny

and the theme suggested me thousands

of things. Well, you know, I’m Italian and

if we speak of food, I can talk for days

without taking a break. I love eating, and I

love cooking. I know thousands of recipe

and I confess that I’m the happiness of

hubby! As the title says, apples and to-

matoes, I focused on food and made the

perfect collection for recipe books, recipe

cards, and whatever you can associate

to food and similar.

What the collection includesCutting Files Project added

As I said, since I was so excited and ideas

continued to come, at the end I made a

huge kit containing more than 140 embel-

lishments. I had to split it into 2 different

kits. I was obliged to do that, because we

couldn’t pack more than 80 elements per

kit, as the shop rules say. That’s why, for

the first time, I did 2 elements pack and a

few of separates:

I just added a new pack to the collec-

tion. I created a wonderful hybrid project,

including cutting files to create a wonder-

ful wallet. Let me say, you will adore it.

Why the wallet? I thought you can use it

for different purposes! You can also put

inside recipe cards! I will show you how

to create it, step by step, on next pages.

Hybrid ProjectThe wallet Tutoria

l’ m so happy to guide you through

this exciting creation. First of all, be

sure to grab the Cutting File pack at

one of my stores. Now, unzip and look

carefully the contents. Depending on

your experience, you’ll go to choose

the correct type of format file. If you

have the Silhouette Cameo but you

don’t possess the Designer Edition

of the software, you will probably use

.DXF files, or .JPG. If you possess the

Designer Edition, you will certainly find

more comfortable working with .SVG

files. Each file includes a set of pieces

and all together will compose the wal-

let. I divided them into categories:

1. Wallet structure base

2. Buckle and accessories

3. Covering

4. Accordion Sides

5. Inner Pockets

The names are self explanatory. Let’s

go to see deeply.

Wallet Structure baseStep 1. Cut the base of the project

Take the file named valentina_wal-

let_Wallet Structure base and cut it. I

applied a distress ink on the edges.

Accordion SidesStep 3. Cut the accordion sides

Cut the file named valentina_wallet_

Accordion Sides and then fold along

the dotted lines. Put them apart.

Inner PocketsStep 4. Cut the inner pockets

Cut the file named valentina_wallet_

Inner Pockets. Put a bit of glue on the

last side of the accordion piece and

CoveringStep 2. Cut the covering

Cut the file named valentina_wallet_

Covering and cover the wallet base. I

used different piece of washi paper to

do that. As you can see, the covering

size is perfect to be exactly centered

above each face of the wallet base. You

have to cover both front and back sides.

paste it on the pocket edges. Do the

same with the second pocket and then

paste the accordion sides to the base.

Be sure that the accordion edge is up-

ward and leave a bit of space at the

bottom.

Buckle and accessoriesStep 5. Build the buckle

Cut the file named valentina_wal-

let_Buckle and accessories. Take the

buckle and place on the center of the

wallet, by putting glue just on the sides,

in order to let the crossing through. Use

the small rectangles to set the string at

the back side of the wallet. Then cut the

small rectangular with smooth edges

and paste at the bottom of the front

cover; Put the glue only at the extreme

sides and leave the center in order to let

the crossing through. Now you’re done.

Let’s decorate with pearls.

Where to buyAdequation of prices

This collection has been

sold as part of the Coor-

dinated Collection at the

Studio for 1$ per pack till

April 13, 2015. From now

on you can purchase it at

all my stores at its regular

price. I recently adjusted

the prices of my products

according to the new

rate exchanges and new

shop policies. What does

it mean for you? Basically,

smaller packs cost more

but the Bundle price has

been reduced a little. The

increment is not very high

if you usually purchased in

dollars, maybe it can result

higher if you purchase in

euro and/or pounds. From

now on, the prices of my

personal shop will be au-

tomatically daily updated

with the current rate ex-

change. Please keep in

mind that this can cause

slight differences in the

prices among shops. I

hope you will keep shop-

ping with me, I will do my
