Disconnect the negative battery ter-minal to prevent an accidental shortcircuit.

Unclip and remove trim panelbetween the shifter and the radio/ cli-mate control panel. (Figure A)

Continue to kit assembly.

Remove (2) Phillips screws exposedbehind panel below radio/climatecontrol panel. (Figure A)
4 Unclip and remove the climate controlvent trim panel then remove (2)Phillips screws exposed behind panel.(Figure B)
5 Unclip, unplug and remove entireradio/climate control panel. (Figure B)
6 Remove (5) T-20 Torx screws securingthe radio/climate control brackets thenunclip and remove the climate control.(Retain the factory climate controls forreuse during kit assembly.) (Figure C)

Clip the corresponding climate controltrim panel into the radio housing.Note: There are (2) different climatecontrol trim panels. One for auto cli-mate control and one for manual cli-mate control. (Figure A)

Attach the (2) radio housing bracketsto the climate controls using the fac-tory screws. (Figure B)

Continue to kit assembly.

Attach the bracket/climate controlassembly to the radio housing usingthe (2) #8 3/8” screws supplied withthis kit. (Figure C)

DIN RADIO PROVISION WITH POCKET
Slide the DIN cage into the RadioHousing and secure by bending themetal locking tabs outward. (Figure A)

Slide the aftermarket radio into thecage until it snaps into place. (Figure B)

Continue to final assembly.
*Note: Refer also to the instructions included with the aftermarket radio.
Attach the radio housing trim platesupplied with the kit to the assembly.

Snap in the pocket into the assembly.(Figure C)

ISO MOUNT RADIO PROVISION WITH POCKET
Mount the ISO Brackets to the radiowith the screws supplied with theradio. (Figure A)

Slide the radio into the radio housinguntil it snaps into place. (Figure B)

Attach the radio housing trim platesupplied with the kit to the assembly.(Figure B)

Continue to final assembly.

DOUBLE DIN RADIO PROVISION
Snap the Double DIN brackets to theinside edge of the radio housingassembly. (Figure B)

Slide the Double DIN radio into thebracket/radio housing assembly andsecure the radio to the assembly usingthe screws supplied with the radio.(Figure C)

Continue to final assembly.

Cut and remove the center bar fromthe radio housing assembly. (Figure A)
4 Snap the Double DIN trim plate ontothe front of the radio/housing assem-bly. (Figure C)

STACKED ISO UNITS PROVISION
Snap the Double DIN brackets to theinside edge of the radio housingassembly. (Figure B)

Slide the stacked ISO units into thebracket/radio housing assembly andsecure the units to the kit using thescrews supplied with the units. (Figure C)

Continue to final assembly.

Locate the factory wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter and making connections as shown. (Isolate and individ-ually tape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.)
Re-connect the negative battery terminal and test the unit for proper operation.
Reassemble radio and dash assemblies in reverse order of disassembly.

FINAL WIRING CONNECTIONS
Make wiring connections using the EIA color code chart shown below and the instructions included with thehead unit. Metra recommends making connections as shown below; Strip, Splice, Solder, Tape. Isolate and
individually tape off ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.
