Apprenticeships at JN Bentley are hands-on from day one; with a dedicated mentor to support your development throughout the course you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills in different business areas.
What you’ll do:You’ll have the opportunity to gain valuable experience working in a busy training, development and labour resource team who support our operational sites that are based all around the country from our Head Office in Skipton.
Your day-to-day role and responsibilities might include:
Training and Development team:
• General office administrative duties including answering the phone, sending/receiving emails, using excel, taking messages and employee/customer liaison
• Sending communications to delegates to attend training courses and following up on attendance, issues and feedback
• Supporting the training and development team to ensure the workforce, including apprentices, have up to date training
• Record keeping, invoicing and budget tracking
• Liaising with training providers
• Managing relationships with a range of different roles from site managers to apprentices

At JN Bentley we have a strong culture of promoting from within. After completing your initial apprenticeship there may be the opportunity to go on to study further apprenticeships in administration or customer service.
• Location(s): Shifnal, Shropshire• Working hours: 37.5hrs per week, 08:30-17:00• Expected initial apprenticeship duration: 12 months• Off the job training will be carried out in the workplace• Position to ideally start in September 2020
• English and Maths to GCSE Grades A - C or equivalent
