Enhance ISM console to display customized status
Modify database schema to support additional custom data
Enhance scanner to receive custom data values
Enhance logging service to collect customized data
Enhance UI to allow users to define custom rules for status
Enhancements

Extend ISM tables to prepare database to hold custom data
Write custom stat scanner - Custom scanner will contain logic necessary to capture ISM stats
Associate custom scanner with ISM component - ISM will invoke the associated custom scanner
Define component health - Add attribute to monitor - Define type and conditions - Define formula

Performance improvements ISM logging
Batch forwarding of stat and log reports from repeaters to mirrors
By default, the repeaters forward the stat and log reports to the mirrors sequentially.
You can batch forward the log and stat reports from the repeaters to the mirrors.
When a repeater logger plug-in receives a log or a stat report, it checks for the log.forward.batch.size property in the prefs.txt file of the repeater. If the log.forward.batch.size property is set to any value greater than one, then the repeater sends the stat or log reports in batches.

Inventory Service
Forcing a full scan using the command-line option
You can use the command-line interface of the tuner to force a full scan on any endpoint. To perform a full scan, you can use the following syntax:
<runchannel><scannerserviceurl> -fullScan
For example, http://10.10.53.92:5282/InventoryService -fullScan

Report Center
Configuring the checksum cache refresh cycle for plug-ins
You can modify the default checksum synchronization interval in the inventory plugin
Schedule frequency interval to a custom value.

Custom Segments
Goals
- Extend the capabilities of the segment hierarchy beyond the current inherited functionality
- BBCA currently offers compatibility support on higher versions of an OS by the following segment hierarchy
<field name="os">
<value name="Windows" displayname="Windows"> <value name="re:(Windows NT|Windows NT 4.0)" displayname="Windows NT"> <value name="re:(Windows 2000.*|Windows NT 5.0)" displayname="Windows 2000"> <value name="re:(Windows XP.*|Windows XP 5.2|Windows NT 5.1|Windows 2000 5.1)" displayname="Windows XP"> <value name="re:(Windows 2003.*|Windows 2000 5.2|Windows NT 5.2)" displayname="Windows 2003"> <value name="re:(Windows Vista.*|Windows NT 6.0)" displayname="Windows Vista"> <value name="re:(Windows Server 2008.*|Windows 2008.*)" displayname="Windows Server 2008"/> <value name="re:(Windows 7.*|Windows NT 6.1)" displayname="Windows 7"/>

Enhanced custom segment
“flatSegmentation” - Deploy packages to specified target platform
New option, will ignore the “segmens.xml” hierarchy on transmitter and install only on the specified target platform.
Syntax : runchannel.exe <content rep url> publish -dir <src dir locn> -url
<rep pkg URL> -includeSegment “Windows XP,x86/any” -flatSegmentation
