We have now kicked off our springstewardship campaign “LivingGenerously…Changing Lives.” Tecampaign takes place this time everyyear to support the operating budgeto Woodmont Christian Churchthat will begin July 1, 2016. I am

grate ul to om and Kathy Pattenor chairing the campaign againthis year. Sunday, April 24th will

be Commitment Sunday and we ask that you prayer ullyconsider making a commitment to support the missionand ministries o our church. Tis is how we responsiblyset our budget (based on the commitments). Everythingthat we do here is dependent upon the generosity o ourcongregation. Megan and I proudly support Woodmontnancially because we believe in our church’s mission:“Seeking God, Sharing Love, and Serving Others” andbecause we understand the importance o stewardship.

We know that lives are changed and trans ormed on adaily basis. We love what Montgomery and Clayton arelearning in Sunday School and at the Preschool. Welove the different worship styles that our church offerseach week. We take pride in the Habitat Houses built,Morgan Scott Mission rips, Guatemala sponsorships, outreach grants, meals served by the Nashville FoodProject, Room In the Inn, hosting AA, Al Anon, DivorceCare, and so many other groups. We are thank ul orthe children’s ministry, the youth ministry, young adult

ministry, adult education opportunities, small groups, music ministries, and ellowship events that happen. Weare thank ul or the riendships that we have been blesseto orm at Woodmont, realizing that strong riendships atchurch make li e much more enjoyable. We all play a rolein moving our church orward and keeping all o theseministries alive.

In recent years, we have been blessed to grow in ourstewardship levels at Woodmont, even during challengingeconomic times. Tis has been a collaborative effort, witheverybody stepping up and doing their part. Sacricialgiving is a part o ollowing Christ. Jesus said, “Wheryour treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Livingis giving. All o us work together to make all o thesministries possible. Every gif counts, no matter the size.Below this article is a chart that reects our recent growth.

Every year, our stewardship goal is simple: keep movingorward. Research now shows us that the church must

compete more than ever be ore or the charitable dollar.

One truth remains: only church people will support theministries o the church. I invite you to join with me thismonth in making a commitment to support the missionand ministries o Woodmont or another year. Tank you

or your generosity. Please know that your generosity isgreatly appreciated, it makes a difference, and is changingmany lives on a daily basis!

    Blessings,

Living Generously…Changing Lives by Clay Stauffer
