Aqd Nikah

ه�م ص�ل� ع�ل�ى �لل م�ح�مد� و� آل� م�ح�مداO' Allāh send Your blessings on

Muhammad

and the family of Muhammad.

Khutbah الخطبة

ح�م��ن� ه� الر � الل م �س� ب� ح�يم الر

In the Name of Allāh,

the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.


لذ�ي� �له ا �ح�م�د� ل الخ�ل�ق� آد�م�

م�ن� ص�لص�ال� �ف�خار �ل ك

All praise is for Allah who created Adam from dried clay like that of

earthen vessels,


�ه� ت �م�ق�د�ار و� خ�ل�ق� زو�ج� �ة� ال �يل ل ح�وآء� ج�And He created his (Adam’s) wife

Hawwaa

partner, most excellent.


� ال �اس� �ن �ح�ا و�ت �اك �ن ف�ت�يد� ; م�ن� ع�ب �را �ي �ث ; ك �قا ل خ�

ار� �ح�ر� و� اAnd hence they married, and

originated the procreation of the humankind abundantly, including of dependents and of free people


�اث� �ن �د� اال� �و�ال �ارو�ت و�الذ�كAnd gave birth to females and

males


ذ�ي �له� ال �ح�م�د� ل �اح� و� ال ك �الن �ا ب ن �م�ر� ا�ه� غ�ب� ف�ي و�ر�

And all praise is for Allah who ordained Nikah and made it

desirable


�ث� ق�ال� ف�ي ي ح��د� ي �م�ج� �اب� ال �ت �ك ال

�د� �ح�م�ي ق�ان� ال �ف�ر� و�الHe, may He be glorified and

exalted, has said in the glorious book and the praised

Furqaan (Qur’an):


�ا مى� �ي �ال �ك�ح�و� ا �ن �م� و�ا �ك م�نMarry those among you who are

single,


�ن� م�ن� ي �ح� و�الصا ل�م� �م�آء�ك �م� و�ا �اد�ك ب ع�

or the virtuous ones among your slaves, male or female;


آء� �و�ا ف�ق�ر� �و�ن ك �ن� ي ا�ه�م� الله� م�ن� �غ�ن عM ي �ه� و�الله� و�اس� ف�ض�ل

Mم� �ي if they are in poverty, God will giveع�لthem means out of his grace; for

God is All-encompassing, All-knowing (Suratun Nur –24:32).


و�ل� الله� س� �ه� و� ق�ل� ر� �ي ص�لى الله� ع�لم� ل �ه� و�س� �ل و�ا

And the leader of the Messengers and seal of the Prophets, the

friend of our hearts, the healer of our souls - Abul Qasim -

Muhammad (SAW) has said:


�و�ا ل �اس� �ن �ح�و�ا و�ت �ا ك �ن ت�اه�ى� �ب �ى� ا �ن و�ا ف�ا �ر� �ث �ك �و�م� ت �م�م� ي �ال �م� ا �ك �ا ب �و� ب �ام�ة� و�ل �ق�ي ال

ق�ط� Marry, procreate and multiply for“لس�indeed I shall take pride in the number of my followers on the day of Qiyama even if it be a

miscarriage.”


�اح� م�ن� �ك �ن غ�ب� و�ق�ل� ال �ى� ف�م�ن� ر� ت ن س��س� �ي �ى� ف�ل ت ن ع�ن� س�

�ى� And he (The Prophet S.A.W.) hasم�نalso said: “Nikah is from my

sunnah; who so ever turns away from my sunnah is not from me.”


ن� �و�ص�ي �د� ال ي �م�ام� و�ق�ال� س� �ن� ا �ي �مؤم�ن �ر�ال �م�ي ار�ق� ا �م�ش� ال�ن� �م�غ�ار�ب� ع�ليV ب �ي ط�ال�ب� )ع(و�ال �ب ,And the chief of the inheritorsا

Ameerul Mu’mineen; The lion of Allah, the Conqueror , the Conqueror over all conquests, Imam of the east and the west, Ali ibn Abi Talib (AS)

has said:


ز� �ح�ر� وج� ف�ق�د� أ �ز� من� تق� �ت �ي �ه� ف�ل �ص�ف� د�ين ن�ص�ف� ه� ف�ي الن اآلخ�ر� الل“Whosoever marries he/she has safeguarded half his/her faith, so have taqwa (be God conscious)

for the other half”


ا ار; �ق�ر� �له� ا �ح�م�د� ل �ل ا�ه� �ع�م�ت �ن ب

Praise be to God, in affirmation of His blessings.


الله� �ال �ه� ا �ل �ا �ه� و�آل ت �ي �و�ح�د�ا ن �ص;ا ل �خ�ال اThere is no God but Allah, in

sincere devotion to His oneness.


ىالله� ع�ل�ى �ه� و�ص�ل ت �ر�ي �د� ب ي م�ح�مد� س�May God bless Muhammad, the

master of His creation,


�آء� م�ن� �ص�ف�ي �ىاال و�ع�ل�ه� ت �ر� ت ع�

and the pure ones from His household.


�ان� �ع�د� ف�ق�د� ك �ما ب م�ن� ف�ض�ل� الله� ع�ل�ى ا� �ام �ن �ال ا

It is from the grace of God upon mankind that he has guarded

them through what is legal


�ل� �ح�ال �ال �اه�م� ب �غ�ن �ن� ا ا � ام �ح�ر� ع�ن� ال

from what is legal from what is illegal.


ىالله� ع�ل�ى �ن� و�ص�ل �ي �ب �ه� اطي �ل م�ح�مد� وا�ن� الطا ه�ر�ي

May God bless Muhammad and his Family, the Noble, the Pure.
