Celebrating 30 years, Warisan
became one of the top choices of
5 star hotels – as an established
furniture manufacturer: from the
Caribbean to the Maldives, the Seychelles to
the Asian coast lines. The Bali-based company
reaches the new age with new features
including an expansion of their factory as well
as a new CEO and shareholder Matthew Bater,
now in charge of the head quarter operations.

to extend our global vision and services to
our partners and long-time clients over the
years for some of the most beautiful places in
the world while being able to place our focus
on craftsmanship and a timeless and elegant
approach under the spotlights,” commented
Gianpaolo Nogara, Founder and President of
Warisan Furniture.
In fact, the company committed to a new
milestone in 2018 with the expansion of their
own manufactoring facilities in Java. Bringing
the working space to 20,000 square metres
with 500 employees worldwide to complete
the growing demand of high-end custom-made
furniture.
“We reaffirm the company’s founding values
of making high-quality furniture while growing
and continuing to build a strong and authentic
community of dedicated people, including
associates, our customers and our employees,”
said Matthew Bater.
In 1989, Gianpaolo Nogara and Lucio Brisolese
founded, after sailing the world, the antique
and furniture shop Warisan in the remaining
showroom ‘Warisan Living’ in Kerobokan, Bali.
Expanding to new markets, they started to craft
their own furniture in the mid ’90s in response
to growing demand. Since then, Warisan has
been serving the travel and leisure industry
with pleasure and high service. Some of the
company’s most notable customers include
Bvlgari, Four Seasons, Necker Island, Club
Med, Rosewood, Six Senses, Westin, Ritz-
Carlton, Hard Rock Hotel, Viking Cruise and
many private properties around the globe which
have recognised the true value of timeless and
quality furniture.
