The tourist village is located on the Caribbean Sea, in the protected area o f a national park, and attempts to make the smallest impact possible on the landscape o f the coral atoll.

The small constructions of the lodges, which have to be able to resist the strong winds, can be dismantled; the double roof and the doors and windows made out of adjustable wooden panels make it possible to vary the amount of sunlight that enters and the ventilation of the interior.
