HISTORY

THE FIRST MOSQUE OF THE WORLD WAS CONSTRUCTED BY OUR PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PBUH) , THE MATERIALS USED WERE PALM TREE PLANKS, MUD .

IN THE STARTING IT WAS JUST A COURTYARD AND A SAMI COVERED AREA.

BUT AS THE POPULATION OF MUSIMIS INCREASED , WE NEED MORE SPACE FOR PEOPLE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY AND IN THE NIGHT AND IN WINTER AN IN SUMMER. SO THEY NEED A PERFECT MOSQUE IN ALL THE CLIMATE ,AND THE CONSTRUCTION OF THESE MOSQUES STARTED. TIME PASSED AND SOME EMPEROR BECAME MUSLIM, AND THEY WANTED ROYAL MOSQUES BUT SCULPTURE AN PAINTING IS FORBIDDEN IN ISLAM .

THIS WAS THE TIME IN WHICH MUSLIMS HAD THE COMMAND ON GEOMETRY, AND THEY CREATED GEOMETRICAL PATTERNS, AND FLORAL PATTERNS , THEY STARTED ADOPTING FEATURES OF DIFFERENT CIVILIZATIONS ARCHITECTURAL FEATURE .

THEY STARTED DOING CALLIGRAPHY ON THE WALLS OF MOSQUE.

DOMETHE CENTRAL DOME IS A PRIMARY COMPONENT OF OTTOMAN ARCHITECTURE STILL PREVAILING IN TODAY’S TURKISH MOSQUES. IT WAS INCORPORATED INTO MOSQUES TO CREATE A SINGLE BIG VOLUME AND SINAN THE GREAT DESIGNED ALL VARIATIONS OF CLASSICAL DOMED STRUCTURES IN HIS ERA. IN OUR PROPOSAL THE PRINCIPLE OF “SINGLE BIG VOLUME” WAS MAINTAINED, HOWEVER IN SEARCH FOR A UNIQUE FORM THE DOME WAS NOT PREFERRED SINCE NUMEROUS DIFFERENT WIDE SPANNING STRUCTURES ARE AVAILABLE TODAY.
