Registration To apply for a grant, first you must register on the Grant Management System (GMS).
Enter https://tnagms.naqoda.cloud into your web browser. The link can also be found
on the Cataloguing Grants section of the Archives Revealed webpages.

You will then be taken to the system’s login page.
To complete the registration form, please click on ‘Register’ button as shown below.
You will then be taken to the registration form.

All available grants open to applications will be displayed in the first dropdown field
shown above. Select the relevant option (i.e. ‘Cataloguing Grant’) that you wish to
apply for.
Follow the instructions throughout the form, please note that anything marked with a
red asterisk ‘*’ is a mandatory field and must be completed to successfully register as
a user on the Grant Management System.
When you have completed the form to your satisfaction and filled in all of the
mandatory fields, please click ‘Submit’ to confirm your registration.
You will then be sent an email with a validation link that needs to be clicked before
you will be able to login.
Logging in
To log into the Grant Management System, enter https://tnagms.naqoda.cloud into
your web browser. The link can also be found on the Cataloguing Grants section of
the Archives Revealed webpages. (www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/archives-
sector/finding-funding/archives-revealed/cataloguing-grants)

Enter your email address (provided during registration) into ‘Login name’ and the
password you chose into ‘Password’.
Click ‘Login’ to be taken the landing page.
Forgotten password
If you have forgotten your password, please click ‘Lost your login data?’ as shown
below.
You will then be asked to enter your email address.

Once you have entered this, click ‘Send’ and follow the instructions received in the
email.
Please note that the ‘Reset Password’ email may not immediately show in your inbox,
please allow a few minutes for it to arrive.

Landing Page
Once you have logged in you will be taken to the landing page.

Starting your application – Phase 1 To start your application, click on the ‘Resume your application due by DD-MM-YYYY’
button on the landing page.
You can also access your application via the ‘Applications’ menu as shown below.
If you have been awarded funding in previous years, you may find details of your
previous application here. [If your previous application is not listed then please do not
worry – we are in the process of uploading all previous applications.]
After locating and accessing your application, you will then be taken to the first page
of the application, similar to the image shown below.

When you have familiarised yourself with the first page, please click ‘Next’ at the
bottom of the page. Upon reading the first page and clicking ‘Next’, you will be taken
to the first section of the application itself.
Please note that you can save a draft copy of your application at any point by using
the ‘Save and Continue Later’ button as shown above. This button is shown on every
page of the application, to allow you to come back and amend at any time before the
deadline.
1. View the progress bar to keep track of your application progress
2. Complete the text fields displayed
3. Add any additional ‘project partners’ by clicking on the ‘Add row’ button
4. Use the ‘Upload’ button to add files stored on your computer to the
application.
5. Select relevant answer for any multiple-choice questions by clicking on the
appropriate option
Any questions marked with a red asterisk ‘*’ indicate a mandatory question that must
be completed prior to progressing.
You can download a word version of the application form from our web pages. We
have made this available so that you can view the application form in its entirety when
drafting your application.

Once you have answered all mandatory questions and completed a page to your
satisfaction, please click ‘Next’ at the bottom of the page. When you fail to answer all
mandatory questions, you will be prevented from progressing until you have
completed these questions.
Remember you can save your application at any time and amend any answers up until
the deadline.
Continue to fill in any mandatory questions, remaining aware of word counts too.
Some questions will expand with sub questions depending on how you answer, please
continue to answer these questions when they appear.
Click ‘Next’ to continue with your application.

Please note that where a maximum word count is shown, the text box will not allow for
more than x amount words, in this case 500. If you are copying your answer from a
word document in excess of 500 words, only the first 500 will be entered here.
Remember you can save your application at any time and amend any answers up until
the deadline.
Once you are ready to proceed, click ‘Next’.

Continue to complete the application using the ‘Next’ buttons provided to progress,
and remain aware of the word limits where stated.
Once you have answered all of the questions in the application and are completely
satisfied with your answers, please click ‘Submit’.
You can come back to and amend your application at any time up until the deadline.

You will then receive confirmation that your application has been submitted.
Once the deadline has been reached, your application will then be sent to Archives
Revealed for internal assessment – which checks the eligibility of your application.
Results of your Cataloguing Grant Application – Phase 1
If your application does not pass the internal eligibility assessment, you will receive
email confirmation of this, with further information about requesting feedback.
If your application does pass the internal eligibility assessment stage, you will also
receive email confirmation of this, and your application will then be passed on for panel
assessment.
Upon completion of panel assessment, you will receive email confirmation of the
outcome. If you have been unsuccessful you will be provided with details about
obtaining further feedback on your application. If you have been successful, you will
be invited to begin ‘Phase 2’ of the application process.
