ABOUT
THE WORKSHOP
They will be at our workshop to motivate and inspire our participants on
how to turn their passions into successful businesses, by creating value and
branding.
There will be a Question an Answer session, where participants will have
the opportunity to ask them varying questions
We will also be having five expert speakers;
Stephen Ajadi who is the Director of ACID, one of his notable work is Lady
Marina, which is a proposed five star hotel in marina, Lagos.
Yemi Adeogun Director at Black Born Entertainment, he is mostly known
for his VFX in ads and movies.
Okoli Uchechukwu managing partner at CLECC Design, is an exceptional
Archviz expert and VR specialist. A notable work by him is The NK villa.
Iskil Kuye Director of Green Architects, one of his notable It's Interior
Photo Pavilion Design for Lagos Photo Festival
Oluwatoyin Lawal Director at FLUX, a notable project by him is the
proposed Glasgow Hockey Stadium, UK.
They are passionate about what they do and love to Inspire a change on
how Architecture is being practiced in Nigeria.
This workshop is for beginners and we would take the basics of 3dsmax and
Corona. Together, we will create a unique project that works participants
through the exterior and interior visualization, then to panorama, and
camera setting for Virtual Reality.
The Archviz Workshop was inspired by lots of request, from our fans, who
really what to learn and join the Archviz industry.
This workshop would cover visualization using different medium, from still
render, animation, walkthrough, Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR)
and Holographic projection.
We will be featuring Isi Etomi and Toyin Oshinowo who are two outstanding
women, who have created a niche for themselves in the industry.
They have individually turn their passion into great success, some of their
notable jobs are;
Maryland Mall by Tosin Oshinowo, which is now being know as The Big
Black Box, first of its kind in Nigeria.
The transformation of the round reading room at the British Museum into an
exhibition space for Chinese Terracotta Warriors, by Isi Etomi.
They are constantly pushing the boundaries of how Architecture is being
practiced in Nigeria.

Olalekan Afolabi is an architect, project manager & visualization expert. He is our Managing Partner in 3dtrance
limited. A keen eye for Graphics, storyboarding critics, an animation lover and pays lots of attention to details of
all sort.
Afolabi Olalekan finished his 1st degree from University of Lagos, Akoka. He also finished a master mind series
from NIIT, Victoria Island, Lagos. Innovation Management from Akure Business School, Akure, Ondo.
Loves Visualization a great deal, thus travels to various Architectural landmarks to experience real architecture.
A project manager who as managed some projects varying from school construction, prototype design, estate
layout design, marketing and sales of estates as well as construction of various estates.
Coordinating professionals to work together to achieve various works from Walkthroughs, animation,
simulation, construction of elements, product, buildings and exhibition.

Yemi Adeogun is a Visual Effects supervisor, 3D Animator, Interior Designer, Game Developer and
Technical Director with almost 10yrs experience having freelanced for many leading Ad Agencies
including Insight Communications, Centerspread, DDB Nigeria and other top production houses in the
country.
He is a passionate and self-taught 3D generalist, his diverse background provided him with a wide
spectrum of technical and artistic knowledge about the needs and workflows of a professional CG-
pipeline. He is constantly on the lookout for new opportunities/challenges to expand his creative
horizon. .

STEPHEN AJADIConcepts in Architecture

Stephen Ajadi is the founding director of the African Collaborative institute of Design (ACID). He is an award-winning
architect, artist and writer with projects and publications around the world. Amongst others; he won the FESA School
Prize for the most outstanding architecture in 2010, the Yakubu Gowon National Prize for writing in 2011 and a Norman
Foster RIBA honorary mention in 2013. He is also a 2015 Commonwealth Alumni. He holds a BTech Degree in
Architecture as well as three professional certifications. Post graduate education include a Postgraduate Diploma in
Management, a Masters in Architecture from the University of Lagos, and a Master of Design from Cranfield University
in the UK— all with distinctions. He has taught and practiced architecture and design at a number of academic levels.
He is credited with developing the first template for benchmarking circular economy in Sub Saharan buildings. His
work pivots around Design, Architecture, Development Planning, Internal Displacement, and Circular Economy. He has
been a visiting consultant and collaborator to many individuals/organisations which include ETH Zurich, MIT, Yale,
Tesco (UK), BREEAM (UK), BAM Construction (UK), Delta Development (USA & Netherlands), Turntoo (Netherlands),
Ouroboros (Denmark & Norway), The Heinrch Böll Foundation (Nigeria, Germany), Nsibidi Institute (Nigeria), Patrick
Waheed Design Consultancy (Nigeria), the London Waste and Recycling Company and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation
(UK). He is currently an Institut Français de recherche en Afrique Fellow (Paris & Nigeria).

Iskil Kuye began his career in Architecture at the Lagos State Polytechnic, Ikorodu where he obtained his National
Diploma in Architecture in July 2005, after which he proceeded to the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Niger
State where he obtained his first degree in Architecture as a Bachelor of Technology in February 2011. In December
2011, he became a Certified Project Manager and a Member of the International Project Management Professional.
Without relenting in his academic pursuit, he also bagged a master degree in Environmental Design from the University
of Lagos in January 2015. He is also an associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Architect. His specialties includes;
Design and Building Consultancy, Environmental Impact Assessment Analyst, Business Research Analyst, Business
Strategist, Business Solution Analyst and Project Management.
However, various companies which include government and private establishments where he has maximized his skills
include, Cappa & D'alberto PLC, EL-ALAN Construction Company, OMNIA Nigeria Limited, Federal Airports Authority of
Nigeria, First Bank Nigeria PLC, Spatial Design Consult and has been trained by several expatriates from British,
Lebanese, Indian as well as American Region and of course his continent, African Region.
He is currently a Senior Architect at DBC Architects Ltd. and the Principal Architect at Green Architects & Project
Managers.

Okolie Uchechukwu is an Archviz expert with an exceptional eye for details and Realism. He is an
architect, animator, 3d artist and programmer. He finished his 1st degree from University of Nigeria and
his 2nd degree from the University of Lagos.
He is the Principal Partner at CLEEC Designs and he is currently pushing the boundaries of Virtual Reality,
Augmented Reality and 3D Holographic Projection in Nigeria. He is focused on putting Nigeria on the Map
internationally when it comes to Archviz.

Think futuristic and cutting-edge architecture designs, one name should come to mind:
Tosin Oshinowo.
Tosin is a young architect whose journey into the world of building designs started early in
life. She had aspired to be an architect from looking at building plans her father would bring
home when she was in secondary school, select her room from the plan and would follow her
father to construction sites.
She pursued her dreams to the Architecture Association, London where she graduated as an
architect and also holds a Master’s Degree in urban design from the Bartlett School of
Architecture, University College London.
The Maryland Mall, designed by her firm, is open for operations . The mall, designed to take
advantage of minimal space allotted for its construction, is a five-storey building with a
basement for 219 parking spaces, Shoprite, four cinema screens, 1 food court, I bar and 40
shops.

Isi Etomi is a qualified architectural designer with over 13 years of professional experience in technical
and architectural practice. She joined James Cubitt Architects Nigeria in September 2009 and later
founded her firm called The Meme Studios, which is a creative hub offering design support services to
professionals of the Built Environment. She has subsequently prepared schematic designs and
construction packages for a number of architectural and interior design projects of varying scale (in both
Lagos and Ghana) concentrating on the restoration and redesign of existing commercial and office
spaces. Clients include financial institutions and telecommunication industries amongst others.
Having worked in architectural practices since 1999, she is experienced in projects at all stages including
interior/exterior design, construction and detail design, project synthesis and presentations from
concept to on‐site supervision. She has also been team‐leader on a number of projects executed in the
exhibition, museum, financial and commercial sector and has sound knowledge in conversion and
restorative projects.
