progressive jazz group area reunited a year ago with long missing krishna monk Tofani. Since then they are alternating "instumental" sets with occasions where they are joined by other singers or musicians. Here is one of the couple of dates with well known jazz singer De Vito. It would be difficult for everybody to take Demetrio Stratos role, and I think she doesn't actually rock... maybe only Mike Patton could fit in. I found the first part of the show being the most adventurous (so indeed stimulating), and then everything becoming too "celebratory" - from what I read, this summer tour they are always playing the same tracks/tracklist, so I would be curious to hear one of the sets without any singer.
