DESCRIPTION
AREALUX is the ultimate Led flood lighting for illuminating large areas. AREALUX is a retrofit solution for mast height of 12 to 45 metres. This publication shows you how to instaal AREALUX. Aplication: container terminals, parking lots, industrial plants, factories, airports, harbours, marshaliing yards. Its an energy efficient solution fully controllable by a light management system, that improves safety and productivity. By continous luminaire monitoring efficient and efffective manintenance planning of maintenace and execution reduces the Total Cost of Ownership of the facility lighting. Reducing stray light, maintenance and improving safety makes is a sustainable and cost effective retrofit solution.TRANSCRIPT

1.0 SAFETY
Safety instructions Always follow the safety instructions of this guide. Failing to follow the instructions can cause serious injury or death to persons and/or damage the installation.
400V Electrical voltage AAA‐LUX components can be under dangerously high voltage. This applies to both the parts in the power supply box as well as the light generating parts. When an electrical fault occurs be aware of the fact that a luminaire that doesn’t work can still be under high voltage. A luminaire can produce little or no light because of electrical dimming. This luminaire can also still be under high voltage. So always switch off the power before installation.
Eye safety according to EN62471‐2008 Be aware that during mounting or aligning you don’t look from a short distance (shorter than 1 meter) or for a long period (longer than 10 seconds) into the light source. Based on the maximum output of the LED types that are used the following can be stated: The luminaire emits no UV or IR radiation and falls in hazard category 2, medium risk. Damage to skin caused by UV : no risk Damage to retina caused by close UV : no risk Blue light : RG‐2, don’t stare into the light source Blue light with little source : RG‐2, don’t stare into the light source Cornea – eye lens infrared : no risk

The light generating parts can get very warm and therefore cause burns. Allow the luminaire to cool‐down for at least half an hour before aligning or de‐installation.
The sticker on the AAA‐LUX LED luminaire refers to the declaration of conformity for this product. The product therefore fulfills the European safety standards. Manufacturer : AAA‐LUX b.v. Fine tuning Once all the LED luminaires are aligned and working it is advised to see them working when it is dark. This to allow for a light measurement and fine adjustment of the LED luminaires.
