El GeneralTwo different things occured several weeks ago when this bad run of resultsstarted. First we lost key player Kitoko in midfield and also that is when theplayers stopped receiving their wages. Today we welcome back Kitoko to theteam after his groin injury but the players still have not been paid. Not entirelythe clubs fault as money from the Cabildo has not been forthcoming. All theplayers are guaranteed to be paid by July 30th, under an insurance schememade by the Spanish FA. I am not forgiving the players for some very poorperformances but many times they have been promised that they will be paid ona certain date and then nothing happens. Some players are on decent wages forour category but quite a few are in the 2.000€ a month wage bracket, so we arenot talking about spoilt millionaires here.The club needs a clear out from top to bottom. I really hope that results do notget in the way of the bigger picture and even if we do get promoted MiguelConcepcion takes a serious look at his position. His argument has always beenthat he will never let the club fall into the wrong hands (commendable) andnobody has provided a viable alternative. Rumours were rife that a Russianconsortium were interested in a take over when we were in the Primera andthere are currently other groups being created. We will see.Today is massive! Fans, I am sure put all their efforts into supporting and notcriticising the players. The Frente Blanquiazul are celebrating their 25thAnniversary this season and today we will see their passion. The team today isnear enough full strength for the first time in months,it is now or never blanquiazules. Venga!!!

Who Are Ya?Hopefully our great little midfield battler willreturn from injury today. Born in Kinshasha,Congo, Kitoko is on loan to us from Italian SerieA club Udinese and despite being a couple ofmonths shy of 24 years old he has clocked upplenty of miles.Moving first to Belgium (a Congo colony), heplayed in the Standard Liege youth set upbefore moving on to Albacete. Two impressiveseasons saw him rise through the Belgium U17and U23 squads and get a call up to the seniorsquad without playing. In 2009 it was widelyreported that Liverpool were keen on signingRitchie but Udinese snapped him up andloaned him to Granada.It was a bizarre debut for CD Tenerife atSalamanca in February 2011 after joining in thetransfer window. Ritchie was sent off for asecond booking late in the game but hadalready played a full part in a rare 2-1 away win.The aggression and determination shown inthat debut have become his trade mark inmidfield but he has also proved to be a strongaddition in the heart of the defence whenneeded.Last summer it looked like Ritchie might beloaned to another of the many teams Udinesehave an interest in so it was a real boost to gethim back. A torn adductor muscle in his thighhas kept him out of action, hopefully he canspark a final push for the play offs and inspirehis team mates to give it all for the cause.
