Armourdoor Fire Exit Steel Door AD10 is constructed from 1.2mm zinc protected steel sheets joined together in a bonding process with a choice of infill e.g. honeycomb core, rock wool or solid timber dependant on insulation and security requirements. The Door is supported by a 1.6mm profiled zinc protected steel frame.

Common Use

Fire exit doors to be used by the general public too provide safe and effective escape through the doorway with minimal effort without prior knowledge of operation. General applications can be offices, shops, sports centres, schools and universities.

Typical Uses

Single openings from 690mm to 1350mm. Double openings from 1290mm to 2800mm. All at heights up to 2900mm

Specification of BuildThe fire exit door has a leaf thickness of 48mm. The core of the steel door is a honeycomb core as standard, with the option of solid timber or rock wool.Door Frame constructed from folded 1.6mm Zintec/aluzinc steel.The fire exit door is supplied with a variable sub frame to allow up to 30mm tolerance for site installations. The frame is fitted with dog bolt for hinge as standard.The Door is supplied with a standard 15mm rebated threshold; driveable thresholds available on request.

Panic Hardware Fire Exit Doors are supplied with a Single or 2 Point Panic Bar or Push Pad as standard. A comprehensive range of hardware including rim locks, mortice locks, night latches and dead locks are available to meet site specific needs.Hardware is factory fitted to allow rapid site installation *note minimal site assembly may be required for double doors & hardware items such as door closers etc

The Armourdoor Security Steel Door AD20 is a high security constructed door, made from 1.5mm zinc protected steel sheets joined together in a bonding process with a solid timber core. The frame is manufactured from 1.6mm profiled zinc protected steel. The AD20 door is tested to BS 1627, Levels 2-5, offering attack resistance for up to 20min. (Secure by Design specification door sets available tested to PAS 24 or STS 202 )

Common Use

The Armourdoor security door AD20 is for commercial and industrial premises such as factories, offices and retail units to resist attempted forced entry. Bespoke manufacturing of this door tailors to a site specific situation. The AD20 can be installed internally or externally.

The Armourdoor blast door is tested to BS EN 13124-2 (EXR2 & EXR3) and have been tested to withstand up to a 12kg charge detonated 5.5m away from the door.

The Armourdoor Blast door AD50 is for commercial and industrial applications to protect against explosions.
