His knack for melding Californian ingredients with French cuisine led him to open his first restaurant, Spago, in Beverly Hills. Since then, celebrity weddings, award shows, television shows and numerous restaurants have showcased his culinary creativity.

His two star restaurant Noma in Copenhagen has been voted the best in the world multiple times and features in the world’s top 50 restaurants each year.

Rene Redzepi has worked with other top chefs like Ferran Adria and has single handedly brought new life to Scandinavian cuisine.

He has appeared in TIME’s 100 most influential people since 2010 and is considered the world’s most influential chef by many.
