With laser marking around the world Monuments and Places one must have seen PA with 0.4% Iriotec ® 8835 and 0.1% carbon black PP with 3% Iriotec ® 8208 PA with 1% Iriotec ® 8840 PC with 0.4% Iriotec ® 8835 and 0.1% carbon black Pyramids of Giza, Egypt PA shows very nice light colored marks – if the amount of carbon black is limited to 0.1%. Discover the camels in front of the pyramids to judge the laser marking quality for yourself. Sydney Opera, Australia Iriotec® 8208 allows very good contrast and definition at high marking speed. Its marking results are inde- pendent from the polymer. It will work in PP just as well as in a TPU or POM. Its only limited by temperature (< 280 °C) due to the PE carrier of Iriotec® 8208. Notice the people outside the Sydney Opera. Mount Rushmore, USA The remarkable details in this picture are the light and dark colored areas in one material. Though PA typically shows a light colored mark, with this formulation you can also achieve a dark mark depending on your laser settings.
