Woodman Point Year 6 Camp On the 15th and the 16th of May 2017, the Year 6 students from F2 and F3 went on camp to Woodman Point. We participated in a range of activities, which included: archery, raft building, flying fox, rock climbing, orienteering and indoor games. There were three groups for the activities. The leaders of the groups were Miss Hunter, Mr Gould and Mrs Weiler. Over the two days, each group did 3 activities. The first day included the indoor games, the flying fox and orienteering. At night, Mr Gould had planned a game to keep us entertained. The game was called “Escape From Quarantine”. As it was after dinner, it was really dark and scary but this made the game even more fun! On the second day, there were three more activities we were involved in. These were: rock climbing, raft building and archery. Once we finished all of our activities we returned to school (extremely tired). Overall, we had so much fun at Woodman Point and enjoyed the experience. It was a great opportunity for us to work collaboratively and spend time with our friends. We would like to thank Miss Hunter, Mr Gould and Mrs Weiler for an amazing experience that won’t be forgotten. By Juliana and Alyssa
