ArtSymposium
KILGORE COLLEGE • FRIDAY • FEBRUARY 5, 2016
The Kilgore College Visual Arts Programs will host the annual Secondary Art Symposium for secondary school art teachers and their students on Friday, February 5, 2016, 8:30 a.m. -
2:00 p.m. in the Van Cliburn Auditorium.
The purpose of the symposium is to avail professionals (artists/instructors) for consultation and demonstrations that might provide insight and renew enthusiasm for teaching art. The
Symposium also provides the opportunity for teachers and students to see a cross-section of work from schools participating in the High School Portfolio Competition, sponsored by the KC
Art Department. These will be displayed in the Devall Student Center Ballroom.
