Artograph A Bahrain-based brand consultancy with
more than ten years of experience in
developing, managing and marketing brands,

Audit Report The comprehensive analysis which Artograph
generates after conducting various audits,
highlighting a brands strengths and
weaknesses.
Behavioural Audit A detailed process where Artograph audits
how a brand is perceived internally and
externally, seeking to establish the desired as
well as the true brand perception and the
gap between these perceptions. The depth
and duration of a Behavioural Audit depend
on the project parameters and specific client
requirements, and involves extensive
interviews, market studies and other research.
Brand Book Designed for both internal and externalaudiences, the Brand Book as developed by
Artograph communicates a brands
positioning, values, vision, mission and
corporate philosophy. It is rich in both textual
and visual content and seeks to clearly
establish the brands attributes and
personality in the minds of the audiences.
The Brand Book can be developed in printed,
electronic and interactive forms.
Brand Identi ty The visual attributes that Artograph develops
for a brand, including its logo, logotype,
corporate colours, visual language etc.
Brand Management A consultancy service, offered on retainer or
project basis, which helps the client to
effectively manage, develop and implement
strategic brand decisions.
Communication Audit A detailed process where Artograph audits
how successful a brand is in communicating
its positioning to its employees, customers,
partners and stakeholders by evaluating the
quality and relevance of its communication
content. The depth and duration of a
Communication Audit depend on the project
parameters and specific client requirements,
and involves extensive review of all corporate
literature, advertising, websites, signage and
other mediums.
Corporate Collateral All material used by the brand to
communicate with its corporate as well asinternal audiences; including stationery,
brochures, annual reports etc.

Creative Brief A concise and highly focused document
which communicates the brands positioning
and requirements while defining the
parameters and directions for the creative
process. A Creative Brief generated by
Artograph is the result of extensive research,
auditing, positioning and strategic planning.
Estimated Timeline An estimated schedule of activity and
deliverables, based on Artographs
preliminary assessment of project parameters
and Artographs experience with similar
projects.
Findings The raw results of various audits and
investigations which Artograph uses to
compile the Audit Report.
Formal Proposal The written contract or agreement whereby
Artograph details its scope of services,
project plan, estimated timeline and fees for
a particular project.
Identity Applications The different places and mediums where
Artograph envisions the brands identity to be
used; such as stationery, literature, signage,
gifts, vehicles, uniforms etc.
Identity Manual A technical manual developed by Artograph
to help the client maintain the integrity of its
Brand Identity. The Corporate Identity Manual
documents the core components of the
Brand Identity, their prescribed usage,
incorrect usage and applications on various
collateral such as corporate stationery,
signage etc. The Corporate Identity Manual
can be developed in printed, electronic and
interactive forms.
Launch Collateral All material used by the brand to launch and
publicly announce its evolution; including
advertising campaigns, road shows, direct
marketing etc. Artograph evaluates and
recommends the most effective methods for
launching a brand which are in line with the
overall brand positioning.
Marketing Collateral All material used by the brand to
communicate with its customers and clients;
including advertising campaigns, multimedia,
brochures, direct marketing etc. Artograph
develops unique and memorable marketing
solutions which maintain and enhance overallbrand positioning.
Naming The process which Artograph uses to
develop and recommended name options for
the brand. This involves the generation of
large master lists, short lists, testing,
evaluation and other research.

Operational Audit A detailed process where Artograph audits
how effective a brands systems, technology
and infrastructure are in fulfilling the brands
positioning. The depth and duration of an
Operational Audit depend on the project
parameters and specific client requirements,
and involves extensive review of all protocols,
procedures, training, human resources,
technology, systems etc.
Operational Protocols The operational guidelines and methods,
agreed to by the client and Artograph, which
govern the timely execution of the project,
assign responsibilities and designate contactpoints.
Positioning The process where Artograph develops and
creates a personality, character, attributes,
values, vision and mission for a brand which
serve as the foundations for brand growth
and consistency.
Project Plan A tailor-made version of Artographsprocesses which are customised to suit the
specific client/ project requirements.
Rebranding The process where Artograph evolves an
existing brand into a new entity. This may
involve changing its name, its identity and its
positioning.
Strategic Action Plan A detailed and diverse range of strategic
recommendations made by Artograph, based
on the Audit Report and auxiliary research.
The Strategic Action Plan outlines and
recommends ways in which the brand needs
to develop, areas which need special and
urgent attention, and how these strategic
decisions will be implemented and their
resultant benefits.
Sub-Contractors External consultants or specialists hired by
Artograph to provide extra and/or specialised
resources, knowledge and expertise.
Teams Both the client and Artograph designateinternal teams with specific responsibilities to
liaise on and support the timely execution of
the project.
Visual Audit A detailed process where Artograph audits
how consistently and effectively a brands
visual face is communicated and applied
across different mediums. The depth and
duration of a Visual Audit depend on theproject parameters and specific client
requirements, and involves extensive review
of all corporate literature, advertising,
websites, signage and other mediums.
