As with any intentional action we take, making a charitable gift can benefit from planning.

Several ways to make a planned gift may reduce your taxes. Below are some ways to

make a planned, or legacy, gift.

If you would like to discuss any of these

giving options, please call 206 547-3956

OR complete the following form and return it

to the Jung Society office:

Legacy gifts

One of the most important ways that you can support the Jung Society is by making a gift today that

will provide financial support for the Society after your lifetime, a legacy gift.

Please seek the advice of your estate planning attorney

or tax accountant before establishing one of these plans. We would be glad to talk with you or meet with

your tax advisor at your convenience.

The Society also welcomes gifts we can put to

work today. These offer tax benefits

(such as an income tax deduction) and the

opportunity to support current programs.

Outright gifts

You can make an outright gift of cash, real estate,

stock, a paid up life insurance policy and other prop-

erty of value. Mail a check to C.G. Jung Society, 4649

Sunnyside Ave N, Seattle 98103, or telephone us to

make a gift by phone at (206 ) 547-3956. You can

also make a donation online at our website

www.jungseattle.org

Tangible personal property gifts

The Society encourages gifts of tangible personal

property, such as library collections, artwork, books,

manuscripts, coin and stamp collections. Contact us

to arrange details.

Real Estate

Donating real estate to the C. G. Jung Society,

Seattle, may also be beneficial to your financial

planning. By making such a gift, it is possible to

avoid capital gains while receiving a tax deduc-

tion for the fair market value of the proper-

ty. You will want to get the advice of your tax

accountant or an attorney when considering a

gift of real estate.

Bequests

You may include the Society as a benefi-

ciary of your will for a specific amount, for a

percentage of your estate, or as a contin-

gent beneficiary. If you are talking with

your attorney about placing the CGJSS in

your will, please contact us for suggested

language.

Retirement Plans, IRAs and Life Insurance

Making the Society a beneficiary of insur-

ance, an IRA or a retirement plan can pro-

vide for a significant future gift to the C. G.

Jung Society, Seattle. Also, there may be

advantages to directing retirement plan

assets to non-profits such as the Society

and leaving other, non-taxable assets to

other heirs.

Life Income Plans

There are several vehicles that allow you to

support the C. G. Jung Society, Seattle, and

in return, receive regular income for the

rest of your life. Life income plans may also

provide significant income tax savings and

favorable capital gains treatment of gifts of

appreciated securities. Some of the most

popular life income plans include: charita-

ble gift annuities, pooled income funds,

and charitable remainder trusts.
