The work that teachers do in  providing the best educational environment for the students is constantly being assessed and evaluated. A School Review is designed to provide independent, and expert analysis of current school performance and practice,

and to reflect on the goals, and targets for learning and improvement strategies that will help develop the learning plans for the future.

On Wednesday 31st. August the School Review Day will take

place. An independent reviewer, Vicki Renick, has already surveyed the students, parents and teachers and has written the

report which forms the basis for discussion. On the review day the

discussion is based on the achievements that the school has attained over the past four years, and the future direction for

learning that will be decided upon as a result. Independent and expert representatives are involved, teachers and parents are included in discussions on the day. The review considers Student Learning, Student Engagement, and Transitions and Pathways.

Parent Opinion Survey is another form of assessment that indicates

how the parents of Ashby Primary School perceive the school and its

performance. Randomly selected families are asked to fill out an anonymous survey and return the survey back to school. These will be sent home today.
