Patel ClaJ;itable Tl:u.;~tM~har~~htra~s lOAof the IMC ActJ.9~fil.Q.r the acad~mi~_~E-r2~12-13- reg~Jding In continuation to this Council's Letter of Intent dated 22.06.2012and with reference to your letter dated 23.06.2012, I am directed to convey the approval of the Board of Governors for establishment of a new medical college at Solapur, Maharashtra in the name and style of "Ashwini Rural Medical College, Hospital & Reseerach Centre, Solapur" by M.M. Patel Charitable Trust, Maharashtra with an annual intake of 100 (One Hundred) students with prospective effect i.e. from the academic year 2012-13u/ s 10 (A) of the IMC Act, 1956, as amended. This permission of the Board of Governors, Medical Council of India for establishment of new medical college and admission of students is initially for a period of one year. It will be renewed on yearly basis on verification of achievements of annual target set out in the project report. This process of annual renewal of permission will continue till such time the establishment r> of medical college and expansion of hospital facilities are completed as per the norms of Medical CUll neil of India. In addition to above, this is further to inform you that while making admissions of your college to MBBScourse it shall be ensured that: (i) No admission is permitted beyond the sanctioned intake capacity; (ii) Selection of Students to the Medical CoIlege is in accordance with the requirements laid down in the Graduate Medical Education R.egtlla!iO!"!.S, 1997; (iii) No admission is permitted beyond the cut-off date. It shall be incumbent upon the Medical College that the information relating to admissions shot. Id be submitted within a fortnight of closure of admissions to the Council. Any failure to submit the information within this time limit would be construed that the admissions in the College WE'renot in accordance with the statutory requirements, thereby enabling the Council to proceed in accordance with law against the College. I am further directed to inform that you and your institution are fully responsible to fulfill and maintain norms including the infrastructure both physical and human resource, teaching faculty and clinical material, etc. throughout the academic year, as stipulated in Regulation of Medical Council of India. In case false/wrong declaration or fabncated documents have been used for procuring permission of the Board of Governors and the said misconduct is brought to notice or comes to the knowledge of MCI at any stage during the current academic year, your institution is 110t liable to be considered for renewal of permission for the next academic year and this letter of perrnission is also liable to be revoked for current academic year. The college shall not admit more than one batch of students against this letter of permission,The college shall also apply to Medical Council of India for renewal of permission well before thecommencement of next academic session, While applying for such renewal, the achievements interms of infrastructure, staff and equipments as spelt out in the time bound action plan and as perthe norms by Medical Council of India, must be clearly indicated, The next batch of students shallnot be admitted unless renewal of permission is granted by the Board of Governors, MedicalCouncil of India/ Central Government.

This permission is subject to the Bank Guarantee of Rs. 7,00 crores (Rupees 1.50 crorestowards medical college and 5.50 crores towards hospital facilities) furnished by M,M, PatelCharitable Trust, Maharashtra for the establishment of new medical college and hospital found to be

r adequate/genuine on all counts, The admission process for the academic year 2012-13 has to becompleted in accordance with the time schedule indicated in the Graduate Medical EducationRegulation, 1997,as amended,
