The combination of everyday functionalism, timeless design, environmental concern and clean, pleasant lines is the principal hallmark of Scandinavian design and ASKOs. The fundamental idea is that carefully designed products should raise peoples quality of life.

Built to make your clothes last longerWe spend a lot of money every year on clothes, and washing them correctly helps maintain their shape, colour and good looks. Our newly developed Active Drum with caring lifting paddles has an optimal design for taking the best possible care of your laundry. The larger drum allows you to wash larger loads than ever before - 8 kg. But thanks to the smart sensor - controlled auto wash SensiSave the washer also adjusts the water consumption and main wash time depending on load size and chosen temperature. This is convenient and saves both water, time and energy when washing smaller loads.

Active DrumOur unique new drum construction means optimum care and maximum gentleness for your clothes. The angle of the drum edges and the design of the drum, in combination with the hourglass shaped lifting paddles, allow your clothes to move to the centre. This along with smaller cylinder holes in the middle gives less wear on delicate items and better balance in the drum even at higher spin speeds. The hourglass shaped lifting paddles also guide larger debris and dirt to the bigger evacuation holes in the paddle edges, which effectively remove dirt from the machine.

OPENS ALL THE WAY Thanks to ASKOs unique construction without rubber bellows, we can use a door with only a shallow bowl shape, rather than a conventional deep one and therefore the door takes up less space. This means you can place the washing machine against a side wall without the glass getting in the way when loading. All our machines have a large door opening (307 mm). This, along with a very easily accessible drum, makes the washer very convenient to load and unload or to find that last missing sock.

8 KG CAPACITYOur new drum has a volume of 60 litres enabling a wash load of up to 8 kg, and this higher capacity means fewer wash loads. The larger drum space also ensures less wrinkles and tangling of clothes, giving you optimum wash performance.

REMOVABLE LIFTING PADDLES The paddles in the wash drum can be removed to save you service costs. In other machines a service engineer would need to be called out but with our solution the user can sort the problem out themselves.

How does it all work?

Why an ASKO washer?Many of the construction solutions, details and the choice of materials that make our washers last longer are hidden deep inside our machines. You may never see them, but the performance and durability of our washers will prove to you that they are indeed there.

SMARTSEALOur washers do not have a rubber door bellow. With our SmartSeal construction the door seals directly onto the outer drum, giving you close access, and making it easier to load and unload your laundry. This also keeps the loading space fresh and hygienic.

CAST IRON COUNTER WEIGHTSWe reinforce and stabilise our washing machines with robust cast iron rear gable and counter weights instead of concrete. This professional solution produces a stronger, quieter and longer lasting machine.

MORE STEEL - LESS PLASTICWe develop and manufacture washing machines to last for many, many years to come. Therefore both the outer and inner drum are made of stainless steel. Unlike cheaper plastic drums they are more durable, have higher quality and allow you to wash at higher temperatures.

STABLE QUATTRO CONSTRUCTION The outer drum rests on four supporting shock absorbers firmly attached to a steel base plate. The entire construction stands inside the outer casing and spinning at even 1800 rpm can be done virtually free of vibration.

ACTIVE DRUMProvides optimum care and maximum gentleness for your clothes. The hourglass-shaped lifting paddles guide the load to the central area of the drum and also effectively removes large objects such as dirt and debris.

INDUCTION MOTORMost ASKO washers are fitted with an induction motor without carbon brushes. This professional motor means that the machine can cope with the highest spin speeds, helps reduce noise levels and also increases the life expectancy of the machine.

A IN SPINNINGThe high spin speed of an ASKO machine saves energy and time during the drying process. You can see this difference in the residual moisture of your clothes.By using 1600 rpm in your washer, you significantly decrease the running time and energy consumption in your tumble dryer.

EASY CARE / SPORTS WEARThis is a new smart program that is especially dedicated to taking care of garments which are made of waterproof/breathable fabric that need easy care. It is also ideal for your sports wear or other clothes made of mixed materials. The machine takes the best possible care of all of these garments and rinses them effectively.

AUTO WASHAn intelligent program that is extremely flexible since it does the thinking for you. It adjusts the water consumption and the main wash time depending on load and chosen temperature. It also optimises the number of rinses depending on the amount of laundry. This Auto program is not only convenient and easy to use, it also saves energy since the amount of water and running time are adjusted according to the amount of laundry. A smaller load means less water and energy consumption.

8 KG CAPACITYOur new range of washers allows you to wash larger loads than before. They now have the capacity to wash 8 kg while still ensuring a premium washing result. With our large door opening, its easier to empty the machine too - a large rug, or just finding that last missing sock.

SUPER RINSEAs a preventive measure for people with sensitive skin, our washers feature an optional rinse function called Super Rinse. This is especially important in countries with soft water and means that the machine rinses up to 7 times rather than 3 standard rinses.

CLEANABLE FANA clean fan keeps the program times accurate, the energy consumption low and increases the life span. Even though the double lint filter collects most of the lint, some of it is bound to end up in the fan. Thanks to our unique cleanable fan the service will be performed quickly and easily.

STAINLESS STEEL DRUMSooner or later, galvanised steel rusts. Thats why we decided to make our drums out of stainless steel. Thats why our tumble dryers really do last longer.

DOUBLE LINT FILTERLint hinders the circulation inside the dryer which leads to a higher energy consumption. This is why our dryers are fitted with a particularly efficient double filter. This prevents lint from gathering and increases the life expectancy of the machine.

PROFESSIONALCONSTRUCTIONWe construct the drum with three ball bearings rather than the far simpler plain bearings that do not have the same life span or stability.

BUTTERFLY DRYING Our dryers tumble the clothes in a figure eight like a pair of butterfly wings. Gently, non-stop and in less time, without the clothes bundling. This also aides the life of both the drive belt and the motor, giving longer durability.

ROBUST SINGLE MOTOR SYSTEMTo ensure the drive belt runs precisely and the strain on components is minimised, we have a single motor system with a robust ball bearing tension system.

CHILD SAFETYTo guarantee safety for the very youngest, the door of an ASKO tumble dryer can be opened from the inside, and the dryer has to be re-started if the door has been opened during drying.

Caring for all your clothesA laundry basket contains many different kinds of materials and colours. Different types of garments need different kinds of programs which care for them in the best possible way. ASKO Clothes Dryers offer many intelligent and convenient solutions so as to take the very best possible care of your laundry. An ASKO dryer also precisely measures the temperature in the machine with two sensors during the drying process and stops the program when the laundry reaches the dryness level you have chosen.

AUTO DRY When you choose Auto dry you can decide how dry you want the load to be by simply choosing one of up to six Auto programs. After that, our unique SensiDry system determines the length of drying time required. Interaction between temperature sensors makes the drying result more even and more reliable than that of a conventional system. The program automatically stops when the clothes are dry. This Auto program is not only convenient and easy to use, it is also energy efficient since the running time is adjusted according to the amount of laundry. A smaller load means lower energy consumption.

AIRING PROGRAMA perfect program if you just want to freshen up your clothes or get rid of hair left behind by your beloved cuddly pet. The airing program tumbles the garment in cool air for the amount of time set by you.

LOW ENERGY CONSUMPTIONWith our development of a new motor, new software, a new filter and better air flow, we are proud that our dryers are efficient in both energy consumption and drying.

LARGE LOADING CAPACITYIt is a fact that the larger the drum, the more air, the shorter the drying time and the smoother the clothes. The large 112-litre drum is able to dry a 7 kg wash load with a perfect result, minimising bundling and creasing in your laundry.
