Uso conforme al previsto

La aspiradora ha sido diseñada exclusivamentepara aspirar sustancias de aspiración secas sobresuperficies secas en el hogar privado. Cualquieruso distinto del aparato no se considera conformeal previsto y puede entrañar riegos de accidenteconsiderables. El fabricante no se hace responsablede los daños derivados por el uso no conforme alprevisto o por manejo inadecuado.

Indicaciones de seguridad

Peligro de lesiones!• Las bolsas de plástico pueden entrañar un

riesgo. Para evitar un riesgo de asfixia deberámantener la bolsa alejada del alcance de losniños y los bebes.

• Explique el aparato y los peligros derivadosdel mismo a los niños para que no jueguencon él.

• No permita utilizar el aparato a personas(incluidos los niños) cuyas facultades físicas,sensoriales o mentales, así como su falta deconocimientos o de experiencia, les impidahacer un uso seguro del mismo si no estánbajo vigilancia o han sido instruidos correcta-mente. Vigile a los niños para asegurarse deque no juegan con el aparato.

• Asegurese que las personas o animalespuedan ser atrapados por la aspiradora!

• Asegurese antes de conectarla a la corrienteeléctrica de que la corriente eléctrica corres-ponde con la indicada en la placa decaracterísticas del aparato.

• Monte, mantenga y cuide el aparato separadode la corriente eléctrica!

• Evite que el aparato puede entrar en contactocon la humedad! ¡En caso contrario existeriesgo de muerte por descarga eléctrica!

• No aspire ningún líquido! ¡En caso contrarioexiste riesgo por descarga eléctrica!

• ¡No coloque el aparato cerca del fugo, caloro influencias de temperatura permanentessuperiores a 50° C! ¡En caso contrario existeriesgo de explosión!

• En caso de no utilizar el aparato separelo dela red eléctrica y enrolle el cable de red porcompleto! ¡En caso contrario existe riesgo delesiones al tropezar con el mismo!

• En caso de una clavija de red dañada o cablede red dañado, encomiende su sustitución apersonal técnico autorizado o al servicio deposventa con el fin de evitar riesgos.

¡Advertencia ante daños en el aparato!

• ¡Compruebe durante la puesta en servicio siestán montados todos los componentes confor-me a las instrucciones de uso del fabricante!¡En caso contrario existe riesgo de daños!

• ¡No aspire materiales ardientes, incandescen-tes o que ardan sin llama o bien calientes!¡Riesgo de incendio!

• ¡No aspire sustancia fácilmente inflamableso explosivas, es aconsejable de no aspiraren lugares donde puedan existir este tipo desustancias! ¡Riesgo de explosión!

• No aspire yeso, cemento o polvo de tonel. Losfiltros podrían obstruirse. ¡Conllevaría dañosirreparables del aparato!

• ¡No cubra el aparato con objetos! ¡En caso contrario existe riesgo de daños poracumulación de calor!

• ¡No utilice nunca el aparato sin filtro!• Desenrolle el cable de red cuando use la

aspiradora como mínimo hasta la marcaamarilla y como máximo hasta la marca roja!

• Extraiga el cable de red de la base deenchufe sólo utilizando como ayuda laclavija de red!

Desembalar y conectar

Desembalar

• Desembale el aparato y todos los accesorios ycompruebe la integridad del contenido.

Conectar

Atención! Monte el aparato sólo con clavija de red extraída9. El aparato se podría conectar involuntariamente.

1. Inserte las tubuladuras de la manguera deaspiración z en la toma de la aspiradorahasta que encastra el bloqueo.

2. Inserte el asa d en el extremo superior deltubo telescópico o, hasta que asiente firme-mente.

3. Inserte la boquilla deseada (boquilla parasuelo e, boquilla de ranuras f o cepillopara colchón g, véase capitulo „cambiarboquillas“) en el extremo inferior del tubotelescópico o.

4. Ajuste la longitud deseada del tubo telescópi-co o: Presione para ello el reglaje de alturau hacia abajo. Tire del tubo telescópico oen la maneta d para separarlo. Si se ha alcan-zado la longitud deseada, suelte el reglaje dealtura u. Continue tirando hasta que escuchecomo encastras el tubo telescópico o.

La aspiradora de ciclón está ahora lista para usar.

Cambiar boquillas

Si desea cambiar la boquilla deberá proceder delmodo siguiente:

1. Seleccione la boquilla deseada:

Boquilla para suelo e: Para aspirar suelos dealfombra o duros.

Boquilla de suelo f: Para aspirar el polvo enlugares de difícil acceso.

Cepillo para colchón g: Para aspirar polvo delos colchones u otrassuperficies de textil.

2. Desconecte el aparato mediante el interruptorde encendido/apagado 5.

Atención!Extraiga la clavija de red 9 de la base de enchufe.El aparato se podría conectar involuntariamente.

3. Retire la boquilla montada del tubo teles-cópico o.

4. Inserte la boquilla elegida en el extremoinferior del tubo telescópico o.

5. Guarde las boquillas que no necesita siempreque le sea posible en el soporte de accesorios p.

Manejo

Atención!Compruebe antes de cada uso si están los filtrosinsertados correctamente y no que hay orificiosobstruidos. Los filtros no deberán presentar dañosy deberán estar secos. ¡En caso contrario existeriesgo de sobrecalentamiento! ¡Esto podríaestropear el aparato de forma irreparable!

1. Inserte la boquilla elegida (véase capitulo„cambiar boquillas“).

2. Extraiga el cable de red 9 hasta la marcaamarilla del desenrrollado del cable.

Atención!Si se puede visualizar la marca roja en el cablede red 9 tire del cable de red 9, pulsando latecla de pedal para el enrrollamiento del cable 8,de nuevo hasta que aparezca la marca amarilla.Por lo contrario podría arrancar el cable de red 9.

3. Pulse el interruptor de encendido/apagado 5.4. Ajuste la potencia de aspiración en el regula-

dor de potencia de aspiración 7.5. Si utiliza la boquilla para suelos e coloque el

cambiador suelo de alfombra/suelo duro wconforme al pavimento.

• Accione el pedal de cambio alfombra/suelo duro w para suelos como lami-nado, gres, PVC, etc., hacia atrás.

Accione el pedal de cambio alfombra/suelo duro w para alfombras tales comoalfombras de pelo corto y largo, alfom-bras de pasillo, etc., hacia delante.

6. Tire de la aspiradora detrás suya como si fueseun trineo. Tenga en cuenta al aspirar las indica-ciones del fabricante de los pavimentos.

Nota: Si desea reducir durante un tiempo la potencia deaspiración, p. ej. debido a que se ha aspirado unacortina, abra el regulador de aire secundario s.

7. Pulse el interruptor de encendido/apagado 5,para desconectar la aspiradora.

8 Extraiga la clavija de red 9 de la base deenchufe.

9. Mantenga sujeta la clavija de red firmemente9 y presione la tecla de pedal para el enrolla-miento del cable 8. Deje que se introduzcasuave y lentamente el resto del cable de red 9.

Vaciar el recipiente recogepolvo

Vacie el recipiente recogepolvo t lo más tardarcuando aprecie que ha alcanzado la marca deMAX � , o bien al apreciar que la potencia deaspiración pasa a ser débil.

Atención!Antes de vaciar el recipiente recogepolvos extraigat la clavija de red de la clavija de red 9 bien dela base de enchufe. El aparato se podría conectarinvoluntariamente.

1. Accione la tecla de desbloqueo 2 y abra latapa de la carcasa q.

2. Gire el recipiente recogepolvo t hacia unlado de modo que lo pueda levantar.

3. Mantenga el recipiente recogepolvo t lo másbajo posible dentro del cubo de la basura yaccione la tecla de desbloqueo del recipienterecogepolvo �.

4. Sacuda con cuidado el resto del polvo.5. Cierre el fondo �.6. Inserte el recipiente recogepolvo t dentro

de la aspiradora. Los salientes laterales �han de entrar en los huecos de la aspiradora.

7. Gire el depósito de polvo t, de modo que nose pueda levantar.

8. Cierre la tapa de la carcasa q.

Almacenamiento

• Durante las pausas de trabajo inserte elgancho para guardar r en el soporte paraguardar 0.

• Si no utiliza la aspiradora durante un tiempoprolongado, introduzca el tubo telescópico olo máximo posible hacia dentro e inserte elgancho de guardar i en el soporte deguardar 4.

• Si no utiliza la aspiradora durante un tiempoprolongado, vacíe el recipiente recogepolvot y limpielo además del filtro (véase capítulo„Filtro“ y „Limpieza y cuidado“).

• Guarde la aspiradora en un lugar seco y fresco.

Filtro

La aspiradora va equipada con los filtros siguientes:

• Filtro de laminas:Para el filtrado de partículas de polvo peque-ñas. Este filtro se deberá limpiar cada 2 meses(véase el capítulo „filtro de láminas“).

• Filtro guardamotor:Si el filtro de láminas no funciona correcta-mente, el filtro guardamotor evita que puedanentrar partículas de suciedad más grandes enel motor y lo pueda dañar o destruir. Este filtrose deberá inspeccionar cada 6 meses.

• Filtro de salida de aire:Para el filtrado de las partículas de polvo finadel aire de salida soplado. Este filtro se deberáinspeccionar cada 6 meses.

Los filtros pueden obstruirse con el tiempo. Ello pro-duce una reducción de la potencia de aspiración.Cumpla necesariamente con los periodos indicadospara su limpieza/comprobación. Si se encuentraun filtro dañado, cambielo de inmediato.

Atención!¡No limpie el filtro dentro de un lavavajillas! Estepodría dañarse de forma que no se pueda reparar.

Filtro de láminasPara extraer el filtro de láminas proceda del modosiguiente:

Atención!Extraiga antes de desmontar el filtro la clavija dered 9 de la base de enchufe. El aparato se podríaconectar involuntariamente.

1. Extraiga y vacíe el recipiente recogepolvo ttal como viene descrito en el capítulo „vaciar el depósito recogepolvos“.

2. Retire la tapa � del recipiente de recoge-polvo t con el filtro de láminas � y la rejillade filtro �.

3. Gire el la rejilla de filtro �, hasta que sepueda extraer.

4. Gire el filtro de láminas �, hasta que sepueda extraer.

Si se encuentra el filtro de láminas � y el filtro derejillas � muy sucio, lavelos bien uno tras otro bajoagua corriente del grifo.

Atención!No utilice cepillos para la limpieza! ¡En casocontrario se podría dañar el filtro de láminas �!

Deje que se seque bien el filtro de láminas � y larejilla de filtro � (apróx 15 horas a temperatura dela sala). Inserte el filtro de láminas � y la rejilla de filtro �de nuevo cuando estén completamente secos.

5. Para montar de nuevo el recipiente recoge-polvo t deberá proceder en orden inverso.

Filtro del guardamotor

Atención!Extraiga antes de desmontar el filtro la clavija dered 9 de la base de enchufe.

1. Abra la tapa de la carcasa q.2. Extraiga el filtro de guardamotor y retire las

partículas aspiradas del filtro y de la rejilla si-tuada detrás.

Nota: En caso de que el filtro de guardamotor estemuy sucio, lavelo bajo grifo de agua corriente.Dejelo que seque a continuación (aprox. 15 horasa temperatura de sala). Insertelo de nuevo cuandoeste completamente seco.

3. Inserte el filtro de guardamotor de nuevo.4. Cierre la tapa de la carcasa q.

Filtro de salida de aire

Atención!Extraiga antes de desmontar el filtro la clavija dered 9 de la base de enchufe.

1. Accione el bloqueo de la cubierta del filtrode salida de aire 3 hacia el centro, retire ysepare a continuación la cubierta del filtro desalida de aire 3 de la aspiradora.

2. Retire la rejilla � así como el filtro de salidade aire �.

3. Retire las partículas del filtro de salida de aire �.

Nota: En caso de que el filtro de salida de aire � estemuy sucio, lavelo bajo grifo de agua corriente.Dejelo que seque a continuación (aprox. 15 horasa temperatura de sala).Insertelo de nuevo cuando este completamente seco.

4. Inserte de nuevo el filtro de salida de aire � yla rejilla �.

5. Deslice ambos salientes de la cubierta delfiltro de salida de aire 3 en los huecos de laaspiradora.

6. Cierre la cubierta del filtro de escape de aire 3presionando hasta que escuche como encastra.

Limpieza y cuidado

Atención!Extraiga antes de limpiar el aparato la clavija dered 9 de la base de enchufe. ¡Peligro de descargaeléctrica!

Limpie la carcasa con un paño ligeramente húmedo.No utilice productos de limpieza agresivos o bienabrasivos. Estos podrían dañar la superficie.

Observe el capítulo „Filtro“ para limpiar el filtro.

Evacuación

En ningún caso deberá tirar elaparato a la basura doméstica. Este producto está sometido a ladirectiva europea 2002/96/EC.

Elimine el aparato a través de una empresa deevacuación de basuras autorizada o por mediodel centro de evacuación de basuras municipal.Tenga en cuenta las normativas actuales en vigor.En caso de duda póngase en contacto con elcentro de evacuación de basuras.

El material de embalaje debe desecharse de forma respetuosa con el medio ambiente.

Solución de fallos

Uso conforme

L’aspirapolvere è indicato esclusivamente per l’aspi-razione di materiale asciutto su superfici asciutte inambiente privato domestico. Qualunque altro im-piego e qualunque modifica dell’apparecchio è daconsiderarsi non conforme alla destinazione e com-porta il rischio di infortuni. La casa produttrice non èresponsabile per i danni causati da un impiego nonconforme alle regole o da un uso non corretto.

Avvertenze di sicurezza

Pericolo di lesioni!• Le buste di plastica possono costituire un peri-

colo. Per evitare il pericolo di soffocamento,conservare la busta lontano dalla portata deibambini.

• Spiegare ai bambini il funzionamento dell’ap-parecchio e i suoi pericoli per impedire che lousino come un giocattolo.

• Questo apparecchio non è indicato per l’usoda parte di persone (inclusi bambini) conlimitate capacità fisiche, sensoriali o mentalio prive dell’esperienza e/o della conoscenzanecessaria, a meno che tali persone non ven-gano sorvegliate da un responsabile per lasicurezza o abbiano ricevuto indicazionisull’impiego dell’apparecchio. • Non aspirare gesso, cemento o polvere ditoner. I filtri potrebbero otturarsi. Ciò provo-cherebbe danni irreparabili all’apparecchio!

• Non coprire l’apparecchio con oggetti!In caso contrario, sussiste il pericolo di dannia causa di surriscaldamento!

• Non utilizzare mai l’apparecchio senza filtro!• Svolgere il cavo di rete durante l’uso almeno

fino alla marcatura gialla, al massimo fino aquella rossa!

• Estrarre l’apparecchio e tutti gli accessoridalla confezione e controllare l’integritàdella fornitura.

Collegamento

Attenzione! Montare l’apparecchio solo con la spina di rete 9scollegata dalla rete di corrente. In caso contrario,l’apparecchio potrebbe accendersi involontaria-mente.

1. Inserire il raccordo del tubo di aspirazione znella connessione dell’aspirapolvere, finoall’inserimento udibile del dispositivo dibloccaggio.

2. Inserire l’impugnatura d nell’estremitàsuperiore del tubo telescopico o fino al suo inserimento stabile.

3. Inserire la bocchetta selezionata (bocchettaper pavimenti e, bocchetta per giunti f ospazzola per divani g, v. capitolo „Cambiodelle bocchette“) sull’estremità inferiore deltubo telescopico o.

4. Impostare la lunghezza desiderata del tubotelescopico o: premere verso il basso il tastodi regolazione dell’altezza u. Tirare il tubotelescopico o dalla maniglia d. Una voltaottenuta la lunghezza desiderata, rilasciare iltasto di regolazione dell’altezza u. Estrarre solofino a udire il blocco del tubo telescopico o.

A questo punto è possibile utilizzare l’aspirapolverecon sistema ciclone.

Cambio delle bocchette

Se si desidera cambiare la bocchetta, procederecome segue:

1. Selezionare la bocchetta desiderata:

Bocchetta per pavimenti e: per aspirare tappetio pavimenti duri.

Bocchetta per giunti f: Per aspirare lapolvere da puntidifficilmenteaccessibili.

Spazzola per divani g: Per aspirare lapolvere da divanio altre superfici ditessuto.

2. Spegnere l’apparecchio tramite l’interruttoreOn/Off 5.

Attenzione!Staccare la spina 9 dalla presa di corrente. L’ap-parecchio potrebbe accendersi involontariamente.

3. Staccare la bocchetta montata dal tubo teles-copico o.

4. Inserire la bocchetta selezionata sull’estremitàinferiore del tubo telescopico o.

5. Per quanto possibile, riporre le bocchette nonpiù necessarie nel porta-accessori p.

Funzionamento

Attenzione!Prima di ogni utilizzo controllare che tutti i filtri sianoinseriti in modo conforme e che nessuna apertura siaintasata. I filtri devono essere integri e asciutti. In casocontrario, sussiste il pericolo di surriscaldamento!L’apparecchio può danneggiarsi irreparabilmente.

1. Inserire la bocchetta selezionata (v. capitolo „Cambio delle bocchette“).

2. Svolgere il cavo di rete 9 dall’avvolgimentofino alla marcatura gialla.

Attenzione!Se si vede comparire la marcatura rossa sul cavodi rete 9, riavvolgere il cavo di rete 9, tramitepressione del tasto a pedale per l’avvolgimentodel cavo 8, fino alla marcatura gialla. In casocontrario, il cavo 9 potrebbe strapparsi.

3. Premere l’interruttore On/Off 5.4. Impostare la potenza di aspirazione tramite il

regolatore della potenza di aspirazione 7.5. Se si utilizza la bocchetta per pavimenti e,

impostare il commutatore tappeti/ pavimentiduri w:

• Spingere all’indietro il commutatore tap-peti/pavimenti duri w per pavimenti duricome laminato, piastrelle, PVC, ecc.

• Spingere in avanti il commutatore tap-peti/pavimenti duri w per tappeti a pelolungo e corto, passatoie, ecc.

6. Trascinare l’aspirapolvere dietro di sé comeuna slitta. Nell’aspirare, rispettare le indicazionidel produttore del rivestimento per pavimenti.

Avviso: se si desidera ridurre la potenza di aspirazione abreve termine, ad es. aspirando delle tendine,aprire il regolatore dell’aria secondaria s.

7. Premere l’interruttore On/Off 5, per spegnerel’aspirapolvere.

8. Staccare la spina 9 dalla presa di corrente.9. Mantenere saldamente la spina di rete 9 e

premere sul tasto a pedale per l’avvolgimentodel cavo 8. Fare riavvolgere il cavo di rete 9lentamente.

Svuotamento del contenitoredella polvere

Svuotare il contenitore della polvere t al più tardiuna volta raggiunto l’indicatore MAX �, o nonappena la potenza di aspirazione diviene sensi-bilmente ridotta.

Attenzione!Prima di svuotare il contenitore della polvere t,staccare la spina di rete 9 dalla presa di rete. L’ap-parecchio potrebbe accendersi involontariamente.

1. Premere il tasto di sbloccaggio 2 e aprire ilcoperchio dell’alloggiamento q.

2. Ruotare il contenitore della polvere t verso illato, in modo da poterlo sollevare.

3. Collocare il contenitore della polvere t inprofondità dentro al secchio della spazzaturae premere il tasto di sbloccaggio del contenitoredella polvere �.

4. Battere con cautela per eliminare i resti di polvere.5. Chiudere il fondo �.6. Ricollocare il contenitore della polvere t

nell’aspirapolvere. I dentelli laterali � devonoinserirsi negli intagli dell’ aspirapolvere.

7. Ruotare il contenitore della polvere t in mododa non poterlo più sollevare.

8. Chiudere il coperchio dell’alloggiamento q.

Conservazione

• Durante le pause di lavoro, inserire il gancioper la conservazione r nel supporto 0.

• Se non si utilizza l’aspirapolvere per lungotempo, spingere il tubo telescopico o il piùpossibile all’interno e inserire il gancio di con-servazione i nel supporto 4.

• Se non si utilizza l’aspirapolvere per lungotempo, svuotare il contenitore della polvere te pulirlo; pulire anche il filtro (v. capitolo„Filtro“ e „Pulizia e cura“).

• Conservare l’aspirapolvere in un luogo alriparo dal caldo e dall’umidità.

Filtri

L’aspirapolvere dispone dei seguenti filtri:

• Filtro a lamelle:per filtrare le particelle leggere di polvere.Questo filtro dev’essere pulito ogni due mesi(v. capitolo „Filtro a lamelle“).

• Filtro di protezione del motore:se il filtro a lamelle non funzionasse perfetta-mente, il filtro di protezione del motore impe-disce alle particelle di sporco più grosse didanneggiare o distruggere il motore. Questofiltro dev’essere pulito ogni sei mesi.

• Filtro dell’aria di scarico:per filtrare le particelle di polvere più finedall’aria di scarico. Questo filtro dev’esserepulito ogni sei mesi.

I filtri possono otturarsi dopo qualche tempo. In talcaso, la potenza di aspirazione si riduce. Attenersiscrupolosamente ai tempi indicati per la pulizia/il controllo dei filtri. Se un filtro è danneggiato,sostituirlo immediatamente.

Attenzione!Non pulire i filtri nella lavatrice! Potrebberodanneggiarsi irreparabilmente.

Filtro a lamellePer estrarre il filtro a lamelle, procedere come segue:

Se il filtro a lamelle � e la griglia del filtro � do-vessero essere molto sporchi, pulirli accuratamenteuno dopo l’altro con acqua corrente.

Attenzione!Per la pulizia non utilizzare spazzole! In casocontrario, il filtro a lamelle � può danneggiarsi!

Fare infine asciugare il filtro a lamelle � e la grigliadel filtro � (ca.15 ore a temperatura ambiente). Inserire il filtro a lamelle � e la griglia del filtro �solo se completamente asciutti.

5. Per ricomporre il contenitore della polvere t,procedere in sequenza inversa.

Filtro di protezione del motore

Attenzione!Prima di smontare il filtro, staccare la spina di rete9 dalla presa di rete.

1. Aprire il coperchio dell’alloggiamento q.2. Prelevare il filtro di protezione del motore

e rimuovere le particelle aspirate dal filtro edalla griglia retrostante.

Avviso: se il filtro di protezione del motore dovesse esseremolto sporco, pulirlo sotto l’acqua corrente. Farloinfine asciugare (ca. 15 ore a temperatura ambiente).Rimontarlo solo se completamente asciutto.

Filtro dell’aria di scarico

1. Premere nel centro il tasto di bloccaggio del coperchio del filtro dell’aria di scarico 3ed estrarre nel contempo il coperchio del filtrodell’aria di scarico 3 dall’aspirapolvere, inmodo da aprirlo.

2. Rimuovere la griglia � nonché il filtro dell’ariadi scarico �.

3. Rimuovere le particelle di sporco dal filtrodell’aria di scarico �.

Avviso:se il filtro dell’aria di scarico � dovesse esseremolto sporco, pulirlo sotto l’acqua corrente. Farloinfine asciugare (ca.15 ore a temperatura ambiente).Rimontarlo solo se completamente asciutto.

4. Ricollocare il filtro dell’aria di scarico �nonché la griglia �.

5. Spingere i due dentelli del filtro dell’ariadi scarico 3 negli intagli dell’aspirapolvere.

6. Premere il coperchio del filtro dell’ aria discarico 3, fino all’inserimento udibile.

Pulizia e cura

Attenzione!Prima di pulire l’apparecchio, staccare la spinadi rete 9 dalla presa di rete. Pericolo di scossalettrica!

Pulire l’apparecchio con un panno leggermenteinumidito. Non utilizzare detergenti abrasivi ocorrosivi. Essi potrebbero danneggiare lasuperficie.

Intended Usage

The vacuum cleaner is intended exclusively for thesuction of dry dust and refuse particles from dryupper surfaces in domestic households. Any otherusage of, or modification to, the appliance is dee-med to be improper usage and carries the risk ofserious personal injury. The manufacturer acceptsno liability for damages that result from improperuse of the appliance or are caused by the incorrectoperation of it.

Danger of injuries• Plastic bags can constitute a danger. To avoid

the risks of suffocation, store the bags out ofthe reach of babies and small children.

• Inform your children about the appliance andits potential dangers so that they do not playwith it.

Warning about damage to the appliance!

• Do not vacuum up burning, glowing orsmouldering materials or hot substances! Risk of fire!

• Do not vacuum up easily inflammable or ex-plosive substances or use the appliance atlocations where they are present! Explosionhazard!

• Do not vacuum up plaster, cement or tonerdust. It could block the filters. This would leadto irreparable damage to the appliance.

• Do not cover the appliance! This could causedamage due to heat concentration!

• Never use the appliance without filters!• When in use, pull out the power cable to at

least the yellow marking, as a maximum to thered marking!

• Disconnect the power cable from the mainssupply only with the plug!

• Immediately separate the appliance from themains supply in the event of a malfunction!

Unpacking and assembly

Unpacking

• Unpack the appliance and the accessories andcheck that all listed items are available.

Assembly

Attention! Assemble the appliance with the plug 9 disconnec-ted from the power supply. The appliance could beinadvertantly switched on.

1. Insert the suction pipe connector z into thesocket on the vacuum cleaner until the lockingdevice engages.

2. Insert the hand grip d into the upper end ofthe telescope tube o until it is firmly seated.

3. Place the desired tool (floor tool e, crevicetool f or upholstery brush g, see chapter„Changing tools“) on the lower end of thetelescope tube o.

4. Adjust the telescope tube o to the desiredlength: Press the height adjustor u down. Pullthe telescope tube o apart on the hand gripd. When you have the desired length releasethe height adjuster u. Pull the telesopic tube oa little further until it audibly engages.

The Cyclone Vacuum Cleaner is now ready for use.

Changing tools

When you want to change the tool, proceed asfollows:

1. Select the desired tool:

Floor tool e: To vacuum carpets or hardfloors.

Crevice tool f: To vacuum dust from difficult to reach locations.

Upholstery brush g: To vacuum dust from up-holstery or other fabricsurfaces.

2. Switch the machine off at the On/Off switch 5.

Attention! Remove the plug 9 from the wall socket. Theappliance could be inadvertantly switched on.

3. Remove the fitted tool from the telescopictube o.

4. Place the desired tool on the lower end of thetelescopic tube o.

5. Store the no longer required tools as far aspracticable in the accessory bracket p.

Operation

Attention! Before every utilisation check to ensure that all filtersare correctly inserted and that no openings areblocked. The filters must show no sign of damageand must be dry. If not, there is a risk of overheating!The appliance could be irreparably damaged.

1. Fit the required tool (see chapter „Changingtools“).

2. Pull the power cable 9 from the cable storageup to the yellow marking.

Attention!Should the red marking on the power cable 9 bevisible, rewind the power cable 9, by pressing onthe foot button for power cable rewind 8, back tothe yellow marking. Otherwise, the power cable 9could break off.

3. Press the On/Off switch 5.4. Adjust the suction power with the suction

power regulator 7.5. If you are using the floor tool e, adjust the set-

ting for carpet/hard floor w with the selectorswitch:

• Press the carpet/hard floor selectorswitch w to the rear for hard floorsurfaces such as laminates, tiles andPVC etc.

• Press the carpet/hard floor selectorswitch w to the front for carpetedsurfaces, such as long or short pile carpets and rugs etc.

6. Pull the vacuum cleaner after you like a sledge.When vacuuming, pay heed to the informationprovidet by the floor covering manufacturer.

Notice: Should you need to reduce the suction power, e. g.if a curtain is sucked in, open the secondary air re-gulator s.

7. Press the On/Off switch 5 to switch the vacu-um cleaner off.

8. Remove the power plug 9 from the wall sok-ket.

9. Hold the power plug 9 firmly and press on thefoot button for power cable rewind 8. Allowthe power cable 9 to pull itself in slowly.

Emptying the dust collector

Empty the dust collector t at the latest when theMAX marking � is reached or the suction powerhas noticeably diminished.

Attention!Before emptying the dust collector t, remove theplug 9 from the power socket. The appliance couldbe inadvertantly switched on.

1. Press the unlock button 2 and open thehousing lid q.

2. Turn the dust collector t to the side so that itcan be lifted out.

3. Hold the dust collector t low over a dustbinand press the dust collector unlock button �.

4. Carefully knock the dust deposits out.5. Close the bottom �.6. Replace the dust collector t into the vacuum

cleaner. The lateral lugs � must fit into therecesses in the vacuum cleaner.

7. Turn the dust collector t so that it can nolonger be lifted up.

8. Close the housing lid q.

Storage

• During work breaks place the storage hook rin the storage bracket 0.

• If you do not intend to use the vacuum cleanerfor an extended period, shorten the telescopictube o as much as possible and place thestorage hook i in the storage bracket 4.

• If you do not intend to use the vacuum cleanerfor an extended period, empty the dust collec-tor t and clean both it and the filters (see thechapters „Filters“ and „Cleaning and care“).

• Store the vacuum cleaner at a cool and drylocation.

Filters

The vacuum cleaner has the following filters:

• Lamellen filter:For the filtering out of light dust particles. Thisfilter should be cleaned every two months (see chapter „Lamellen filter“).

• Motor protection filter:Should the lamellen filter not function properly,the motor protection filter prevents larger dustparticles from damaging or destroying themotor. This filter should be checked every6 months.

• Exhaust filter:For filtering the smallest dust particles from theblown-out exhaust air. This filter should bechecked every 6 months.

The filters can become blocked after a period oftime. The suction power is thereby reduced.Observe absolutely the given time periods forcleaning and checking. Should a filter bedamaged, exchange it immediately.

Attention!Do not clean the filters in a dishwasher! They couldbecome irreparably damaged.

Lamellen filterTo take the lamellen filter out, proceed as follows:

Attention!Before taking the filter out, remove the plug 9from the power socket. The appliance could beinadvertantly switched on.

1. Remove and empty the dust collector t asdescribed in the chapter „Emptying the dustcollector“.

2. Take off the cover � of the dust collector twith the lamellen filter � and the filter grill �.

3. Turn the filter grill �, until it can be removed.4. Turn the lamellen filter �, until it can be

removed.

Should the lamellen filter � and the filter grill � beheavily soiled, rinse them both thoroughly underclean running water.

Attention!Do not use a brush for cleaning! The lamellen filter� could be damaged!

Afterwards allow the lamellen filter � and the filtergrill � to dry out (ca. 15 hours at room temperature). Replace the lamellen filter � and the filter grill �only when they are both completely dry.

5. To reassemble the dust collector t proceed inthe opposite sequence.

Motor protection filter

Attention!Before taking the filter out, remove the plug 9 fromthe power socket.

1. Open the housing lid q.2. Take out the motor protection filter and re-

move the vacuumed in particles from the filterand the grill lying behind it.

Notice: Should the motor protection filter be heavilysoiled, rinse it thoroughly under clean runningwater. Afterwards allow it to dry out ( ca. 15 hoursat room temperature). Replace it only when it iscompletely dry.

3. Replace the motor protection filter .4. Close the housing lid q.

Exhaust filter

Attention!Before taking the filter out, remove the plug 9 fromthe power socket.

1. Press the locking device of the exhaust filtercover 3 in the middle and at the same timepull the exhaust filter cover 3 away from thevacuum cleaner to open it.

2. Remove the grill � as well as the exhaustfilter �.

3. Remove the dust particles from the exhaustfilter �.

Notice: Should the exhaust filter � be heavily soiled, rinseit thoroughly under clean running water. Afterwardsallow it to dry out ( ca. 15 hours at room temperatu-re). Replace it only when it is completely dry.

4. Replace the exhaust filter � and the grill �.5. Slide both of the lugs of the exhaust filter

cover 3 into the recesses on the vacuumcleaner.

6. Press the exhaust filter cover 3 to until it audi-bly engages.

Cleaning and care

Attention!Before cleaning the appliance, remove the plug 9from the power socket. Risk of electric shock!

Clean the housing with a lightly moistened cloth. Donot use abrasive or aggressive cleaning materials.These could damage the upper surfaces.

Take note of the chapter „Filters“ for the cleaning ofthe filters.

Disposal

Do not dispose of the appliance inyour normal domestic waste. Thisproduct is subject to the Europeanguideline 2002/96/EC.

Dispose of the appliance through an approveddisposal centre or at your community waste facility.Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt, please contact your waste disposalcentre.

Dispose of all packaging materials in an environmentally friendly manner.

Auspacken und Anschließen

Auspacken

• Packen Sie das Gerät und alle Zubehörteileaus und überprüfen Sie den Inhalt auf Voll-ständigkeit.

Anschließen

Achtung!Montieren Sie das Gerät nur mit gezogenem Netz-stecker 9. Das Gerät könnte versehentlich einge-schaltet werden.

1. Stecken Sie den Saugschlauchstutzen z inden Anschluss des Staubsaugers, bis dieVerriegelung einrastet.

2. Stecken Sie den Handgriff d in das obereEnde des Teleskoprohres o, bis er fest sitzt.

3. Stecken Sie die gewünschte Düse (Bodendüsee, Fugendüse f oder Polsterbürste g sieheKapitel „Düsen wechseln“) auf das untereEnde des Teleskoprohres o.

4. Stellen Sie die gewünschte Länge des Teles-koprohres o ein: Drücken Sie dazu die Höhen-verstellung u nach unten. Ziehen Sie das Teles-koprohr o am Handgriff d auseinander. Istdie gewünschte Länge erreicht, lassen Sie dieHöhenverstellung u los. Ziehen Sie noch soweit, bis das Teleskoprohr o hörbar einrastet.

Der Zyklon Staubsauger ist nun einsatzbereit.

Düsen wechseln

Wenn Sie die Düse wechseln wollen gehen Sie wiefolgt vor:

1. Wählen Sie die gewünschte Düse:

Bodendüse e: Um Teppich- oder Hartböden zusaugen.

Fugendüse f: Um Staub aus schwer zugäng-lichen Stellen zu saugen.

Polsterbürste g: Um Staub von Polstern oderanderen textilen Oberflächenzu saugen.

2. Schalten Sie das Gerät am Ein-/Ausschalter 5aus.

Achtung!Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker 9 aus der Netz-steckdose. Das Gerät könnte versehentlich einge-schaltet werden.

3. Ziehen Sie die montierte Düse vom Teleskop-rohr o ab.

4. Stecken Sie die gewünschte Düse auf dasuntere Ende des Teleskoprohrs o.

5. Bewahren Sie die nicht mehr benötigten Düsenso weit möglich im Zubehörhalter p auf.

Bedienen

Achtung!Prüfen Sie vor jeder Benutzung, ob alle Filter ord-nungsgemäß eingesetzt sind und keine Öffnungenverstopft sind. Die Filter dürfen keine Beschädi-gungen aufweisen und müssen trocken sein. Ansonsten besteht Überhitzungsgefahr! Das Gerät kann irreparabel beschädigt werden.

1. Stecken Sie die gewünschte Düse auf (sieheKapitel „Düsen wechseln“).

2. Ziehen Sie das Netzkabel 9 bis zur gelbenMarkierung aus der Kabelaufwicklung.

Achtung!Ist die rote Markierung am Netzkabel 9 zu sehen,ziehen Sie das Netzkabel 9, durch Drücken aufdie Fußtaste zur Netzkabelaufwicklung 8, wiederbis zur gelben Markierung ein. Ansonsten kann dasNetzkabel 9 abreißen.

3. Drücken Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter 5.4. Stellen Sie die Saugleistung am Saugleistungs-

regler 7 ein.5. Wenn Sie die Bodendüse e verwenden,

stellen Sie den Umschalter Teppich-/Hart-boden w ein:

• Drücken Sie den Umschalter Teppich/Hartboden für Hartboden, wie Laminat,Fliesen, PVC, etc. nach hinten.

• Drücken Sie den Umschalter Teppich/Hart-boden für Teppich, wie lang- und kurz-florige Teppiche, Läufer, etc. nach vorne.

6. Ziehen Sie den Staubsauger wie einen Schlit-ten hinter sich her. Beachten Sie zum Saugendie Hinweise der Hersteller der Bodenbeläge.

Hinweis:Wenn Sie kurzfristig die Saugkraft verringernwollen, z. B. wenn eine Gardine eingesaugt wurde,öffnen Sie den Nebenluftregler s.

7. Drücken Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter 5, um denStaubsauger auszuschalten.

8. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker 9 aus der Netz-steckdose.

9. Halten Sie den Netzstecker 9 fest und drückenSie auf die Fußtaste zur Netzkabelaufwicklung8. Lassen Sie das Netzkabel 9 langsam ein-ziehen.

Staubbehälter ausleeren

Leeren Sie den Staubbehälter t spätestens dannaus, wenn die MAX-Markierung � erreicht ist, oderdie Saugleistung spürbar schwächer wird.

Achtung!Ziehen Sie, bevor Sie den Staubbehälter t auslee-ren, den Netzstecker 9 aus der Netzsteckdose. DasGerät könnte versehentlich eingeschaltet werden.

1. Drücken Sie die Entriegelungstaste 2 undöffnen Sie den Gehäusedeckel q.

2. Drehen Sie den Staubbehälter t zur Seite,so dass er sich abheben lässt.

3. Halten Sie den Staubbehälter t tief übereinen Mülleimer und drücken Sie die Staub-behälter-Entriegelungstaste �.

4. Klopfen Sie Staubrückstände vorsichtig aus.5. Schließen Sie den Boden �.6. Setzen Sie den Staubbehälter t in den Staub-

sauger ein. Die seitlichen Nasen � müssen indie Aussparungen am Staubsauger fassen.

7. Drehen Sie den Staubbehälter t, so dass ernicht mehr abgehoben werden kann.

8. Schließen Sie den Gehäusedeckel q.

Aufbewahren

• Bei Arbeitspausen stecken Sie den Verstau-haken r in die Verstauhalterung 0.

• Wenn Sie den Staubsauger längere Zeit nichtbenutzen, schieben Sie das Teleskoprohr oso weit wie möglich ein und stecken Sie denVerstauhaken i in die Verstauhalterung 4.

• Wenn Sie den Staubsauger längere Zeit nichtbenutzen, leeren Sie den Staubbehälter t undreinigen Sie diesen und die Filter (siehe Kapitel„Filter“ und „Reinigen und Pflegen“).

• Bewahren Sie den Staubsauger an einemkühlen und trockenem Ort auf.

Filter

Der Staubsauger besitzt folgende Filter:

• Lamellenfilter:Zum Herausfiltern der leichten Staubpartikel.Dieser Filter sollte alle 2 Monate gereinigtwerden (siehe Kapitel „Lamellenfilter“).

• Motorschutzfilter:Falls der Lamellenfilter nicht einwandfrei funk-tioniert, verhindert der Motorschutzfilter, dassgrößere Schmutzpartikel den Motor beschä-digen oder zerstören. Dieser Filter sollte alle6 Monate überprüft werden.

• Abluftfilter:Zum Herausfiltern der feinsten Staubpartikelaus der ausgeblasenen Abluft. Dieser Filtersollte alle 6 Monate überprüft werden.

Die Filter können nach einiger Zeit verstopfen.Dadurch wird die Saugleistung reduziert. HaltenSie unbedingt die angegebenen Zeitabstände zurReinigung/Überprüfung ein. Ist ein Filter beschä-digt, tauschen Sie diesen umgehend aus.

Achtung! Reinigen Sie die Filter nicht in der Spülmaschine!Diese können irreparabel beschädigt werden.

LamellenfilterUm den Lamellenfilter heraus zu nehmen, gehen Siewie folgt vor:

Achtung!Ziehen Sie, bevor Sie die Filter ausbauen, denNetzstecker 9 aus der Netzsteckdose. Das Gerätkönnte versehentlich eingeschaltet werden.

1. Entnehmen und leeren Sie den Staubbehältert wie im Kapitel „Staubbehälter ausleeren“beschrieben.

2. Nehmen Sie den Deckel � des Staubbehälterst mit dem Lamellenfilter � und dem Filter-gitter � ab.

3. Drehen Sie das Filtergitter �, bis es sich her-ausnehmen lässt.

4. Drehen Sie den Lamellenfilter �, bis er sichherausnehmen lässt.

Sollte der Lamellenfilter � und das Filtergitter �stark verschmutzt sein, spülen Sie sie nacheinanderunter fließendem Wasser gründlich aus.

Achtung!Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung keine Bürste! DerLamellenfilter � kann beschädigt werden!

Lassen Sie den Lamellenfilter � und das Filtergitter� anschließend trocknen (ca. 15 Stunden beiRaumtemperatur). Setzen Sie den Lamellenfilter � und das Filtergitter� erst wieder ein, wenn diese völlig trocken sind.

5. Um den Staubbehälter t wieder zusammen zusetzen, gehen Sie in umgekehrter Reihenfolgevor.

Motorschutzfilter

Achtung!Ziehen Sie, bevor Sie die Filter ausbauen, denNetzstecker 9 aus der Netzsteckdose.

1. Öffnen Sie den Gehäusedeckel q.2. Entnehmen Sie den Motorschutzfilter und

entfernen Sie angesaugte Partikel aus demFilter und dem dahinter liegendem Gitter.

Hinweis:Falls der Motorschutzfilter sehr stark verschmutztist, spülen Sie ihn unter fließendem Wasser aus. Las-sen Sie ihn anschließend trocknen (ca. 15 Stundenbei Raumtemperatur). Setzen Sie ihn erst wiederein, wenn er völlig trocken ist.

3. Setzen Sie den Motorschutzfilter wiederein.

4. Schließen Sie den Gehäusedeckel q.

Abluftfilter

Achtung!Ziehen Sie, bevor Sie die Filter ausbauen, denNetzstecker 9 aus der Netzsteckdose.

1. Drücken Sie die Verriegelung der Abluft-filterabdeckung 3 zur Mitte und ziehen Siegleichzeitig die Abluftfilterabdeckung 3 vomStaubsauger weg, um sie zu öffnen.

2. Entnehmen Sie das Gitter � sowie den Abluft-filter �.

3. Entfernen Sie Partikel aus dem Abluftfilter �.

Hinweis:Falls der Abluftfilter � sehr stark verschmutzt ist,spülen Sie ihn unter fließendem Wasser aus.Lassen Sie ihn anschließend trocknen (ca.15 Stunden bei Raumtemperatur). Setzen Sie ihn erst wieder ein, wenn er völlig trocken ist.

4. Setzen Sie den Abluftfilter � und das Gitter �wieder ein.

5. Schieben Sie die beiden Nasen der Abluft-filterabdeckung 3 in die Aussparungen amStaubsauger.

6. Drücken Sie die Abluftfilterabdeckung 3 zu,bis sie hörbar einrastet.

Reinigen und Pflegen

Achtung!Ziehen Sie, bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen, den Netz-stecker 9 aus der Netzsteckdose. Es droht Gefahrdurch elektrischen Schlag.

Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse mit einem leicht ange-feuchteten Tuch. Verwenden Sie keine scheuerndenoder ätzenden Reinigungsmittel. Diese können dieOberfläche beschädigen.

Beachten Sie das Kapitel „Filter“ um die Filter zureinigen.

Entsorgen

Werfen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls inden normalen Hausmüll. DiesesProdukt unterliegt der europäischenRichtlinie 2002/96/EC.

Entsorgen Sie das Gerät über einen zugelassenenEntsorgungsbetrieb oder über Ihre kommunaleEntsorgungseinrichtung.Beachten Sie die aktuell geltenden Vorschriften.Setzen Sie sich im Zweifelsfall mit Ihrer Entsorgungs-einrichtung in Verbindung.
