    Like all English teachers, I observe that my tests conform to both therequirements of the official syllabus in terms of topics, skills and activities andthe recommendations of the official texts that regulate assessment in Tunisianpreparatory schools. Also, they shall reflect the learning expected to have beenacquired via the official textbooks in use. And most essentially, they shallcomprise integrative-type tasks (Vocabulary + Grammar + listening + contextclues ... etc.)

    Here is the list of the various types of tasks and items that I used in the mid-term tests to assess both 7th and 9th graders.
