ASSURANCE OF GUIDANCE Proverbs 3: 5,6
“ Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge him, and
he will make your paths straight.”
What is our Role?
Trust God with all our heart as His ways and thoughts are above ours Do not assume that we know it all Place ALL our plans before Him and pray for wisdom Offer ourself as a living sacrifice to God
1. Sacrifice our fleshly desires and keep our bodies pure2. Transform our minds by choosing positive thoughts3. Dedicate all our tasks to his service
Do not conform to secular values Honor God with everything we own Listen to God’s voice in everything we do, everywhere we go
Ps 32:8 , Romans 12:1,2 , Jeremiah 17:7 , James 1:5
What is God’s Role ?
Give us wisdom to make the right choices Keep us on track by providing light Help us in the transformation of our bodies and mind Ensure we reach our destination Cover satan’s attacks Give abundantly, immeasurably and graciously to all Lead us to the truth Guide us and lead us in ALL aspects of life Isa 55:8,9 , Romans 12:1,2 ,
Jeremiah 17:5 , James 1:5 , John 16:13
What principle did Jesus follow in making decisions?
John 6: 38 – I came down from heaven to do what God wants, not what I want.
What warning did God give in Jeremiah 17: 5? This is what the LORD says:
“Bad things will happen to those who put their trust in people.
Bad things will happen to those who depend on human strength.
That is because they have stopped trusting the LORD.

Lessons From David’s Life
Journey of his life – David was taken from: - RUT TO ROYALTY
- LEADING SHEEP TO LEADING AN ARMY - THE PASTURE TO THE PALACEDavid was strong in his beliefs, humble,
and feared God more than man. God had plans for David beyond his
imagination and chose David to be king instead of Saul
GOD DOESN’T DIRECT A STATIONARY CAR. We need to make plans based on what we know best and keep moving!
