Use this guide if booting is an issue or if you want to upgrade the amount of storage your SSD has.Replacing the SSD in the ASUS ZenBook UX31E is relatively easy and should not take much time.

Step 1 — Back Cover

Using a T4 Torx Screwdriver,unscrew the screws at the markedlocations.

Place the screws into a container asto not lose them.

Step 2

Using your iFixit Opening Tool,carefully slide it between the backpanel.

Lift the back plate of your ASUSZenBook UX31E and place it to theside.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Step 3 — SSD

Attach your Anti-Static Wrist Wrapto something metal as to not shockyour system.

Peel back the warranty sticker toreveal the screw under it.

Peeling off the sticker located on theSSD will void the warranty.

Using your Phillips 00 PrecisionScrewdriver, unscrew the screw thatyou just revealed.

Step 4

Using your hand, pull the SSD from its slot.
