the “building blocks” behind the building blocks with JAVA programming.

Electrical Engineering and STEM with Harry Potter: July 16-20

YOU become part of the story as you create a magic wand and

learn spells to help Harry Potter unlock the Wizard's Chip.

Learn about Electrical Engineering, computer chips, programming, and STEM skills

along the way to help you on your mystic quest! You will create your own custom-

ized magic wand to take home and keep after your stay at Hogwarts. During the

week, you will use an Arduino microprocessor, the Makey Makey interface tool,

LEDs, as well as your customized magic wand, to bring the magic to life in this full

immersion Wizarding Adventure. Be sure to wear your Harry Potter robes, glasses, t-shirts, hats, masks, and

costumes to add to the MAGIC! For students entering 1st Grade through 5th Grade.

Learn about Mechanical Engineering and the 3D design process as you encounter

challenges and overcome obstacles to help your Superhero or Villain. You will use a

3D printing pen to create colorful, customized items for your Superhero or Villain to

take to this epic battle. You will also learn how to design iconic Superhero or Villain models for 3D

printing on the Makerbot 3D printer to take home each day. Will your side win? Be sure to wear your Superhero or Villain
