• UB collaboration grant : For bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctoral students who would like to experience work in a UB unit or at an affiliated organization. Collaboration grants provide an opportunity to acquire additional training, building academic and personal skills, and are open to students enrolled in official and UB-specific courses.
• MAEC-AECID grants : Grants for languages courses (except French and English), postgraduate studies, doctoral studies and research placements outside Spain, or for specialized European studies and cultural cooperation work.Two grants are available: fee support and monthly bursary.
• Grants for “Els Juliols” courses: Specific grants covering the costs of attending individual courses

AIThe University of Barcelona Learning and Research Resources Centre
(CRAI) was created in early 2004 with a view to adapting the University's
libraries to the requirements of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA)
and the European Research Area (ERA), within which a new framework for
university teaching based on learning, research, development and innovation
was being developed.
The CRAI provides library services as well as support for teaching and
research, and is comprised of libraries, technical units and the Centre for
Plant Biodiversity Research.

Founded in 1953 and noted for the quality and rigour of its teaching, the School of Modern Languages (EIM) offers instruction in 18 foreign languages to the university community.
The EIM organizes module-based courses and annual courses for all levels of proficiency, which can be taken face-to-face, online, or as a mixture of the two.
It offers accreditation of English language proficiency for UB-CIEE grant applications by UB teaching staff wishing to complete a placement at an English-speaking university.
