Dear Friends in Christ, Next weekend we will have the great privilege of welcoming a Divine Word Missionary to our parish to speak at all Masses. This is part of the yearly Missionary Co-op Weekend, sponsored by our Diocese. The missionary will speak to us about the Church in other parts of the world, and ask for our help to assist our brothers and sisters in Christ. Next weekend an informational flyer will be included in our bulletin with further information about the Divine Word Missionaries, and their work in 78 countries all over the world. NATIVITY PARISH PICNIC

The Nativity Parish Picnic will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2017, in the Cafeteria and Gymnasium from 2 pm to 6 pm. Cost is $5.00 per

person. Hamburgers, hotdogs and soda will be provided. We are asking that everyone bring a covered dish, i.e., appetizer, side dish, salad or dessert to share. There will be games for children, bingo, a 50/50 raffle and gift baskets auction. We are looking for new or gently used items to be given as prizes. Nativity Church will host an introduction to Ignatian Spirituality

based on the spiritual exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Date and time will be determined according to the

participants schedule. Anyone interested in participating is asked to

FOOD COLLECTION FOR CLOVERLEAF FOOD BANK-JUNE

For the month of June we will be collecting canned CHICKEN or TUNA for the Clover leaf Food Bank at St. Elizabeth’s. We will ONLY be collecting these specific items during June. There is a box in the hallway between the cafeteria and church to put the items in. We are very thankful for the generous Parishioners at Nativity. The response has been WONDERFUL.
