Geotechnical Scholarship Scheme 2015 The Atkins Geotechnical Scholarship Scheme offers A Level (or equivalent) and undergraduate students the opportunity of working alongside Atkins’ engineering geologists and geotechnical engineers during the summer holidays. Over a six week placement you will gain real work experience and have an opportunity to learn about the possi- bilities offered by a career in an organisation such as Atkins. You will assist our staff working on a variety of geo- logical and geotechnical activities, which involve the investigation, design and managment of ground engineering projects. You will work both independently and as part of a team. The exact nature of your work depends on the projects that are active next summer.
