Hi everyone, I watched a sobering program recently titled The Earth From The Air. Basically it was a documentary about the earths resources and the incredibly fast rate at which mankind is using them up. The rate is accelerating as well, we just don’t seem to get it. Much of the re-sources are non self replenishing. We have rivers that once were vast which now do not flow as far as the sea due to the amount of water taken out en-route.

Bearing in mind that until we invented ships man was captive to the continent born on.

After ships, we ventured out all over the planet harvesting resources and returning home at intervals to tell oth-ers of our find or to exploit the various harvests. Sometimes to raise venture capital to increase our ability to exploit even further.

It occurred to me that Honey Bees do this as well. It is called the waggle dance. But in their case it is done for survival. We started out with survival in mind but it soon turned into a greed driven enterprise.

Bees, mere insects have for over 60 million years been able to live harmoni-ously with their nature. Mankind the great intellectual fails miserably. I do so hope we change our attitudes in time.

Stay safe everyone
