In the ANS there are two neuron efferent pathways:Preganglionic neuron has to synapse into the postganglionic neuron before stimulating the
organ.
●Preganglionic neuron= ACho Sympathetic preganglionic neurons= shorter with more synapses than parasympathetic
●Postganglionic neurons= norepinephrine ●Parasympathetic postganglionic neurons= ACh
