Dr. Thomas J. Balshi, DDS, PhD, FACP

Dr. Thomas J. Balshi, DDS, PhD, FACPDr. Balshi is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and founder of Prosthodontics Intermedica in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. He also serves as director of the Institute for Facial Esthetics in Fort Washington, where he established dental training programs

for surgical and prosthodontics residents from around the world. He earned his DDS from Temple in 1972. Dr. Balshi’s groundbreaking work led to the development of exclusive implant treatment protocols including Teeth in a Day™ for accelerated rehabilitation and No BoneZ Solution™ to eliminate the need for extensive bone grafting.

Dr. Burt Melton, DDS

Dr. Melton is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry and the Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentistry. He is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, a diplomat of the

American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, and a fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International.

Dr. Israel Finger, DDS, MS, M.Ed

Dr. Finger specializes in removable prosthetics (dentures) and implant restorations. For 28 years, Dr. Finger has been a Professor at LSU Medical Center, where he was Director of the Graduate Program in Prosthodontics. He has lectured extensively, both nationally and internationally, and has authored

numerous journal articles and contributed to textbooks.

Mr. Robert Kreyer, CDT

Mr. Kreyer is a third generation dental technician, a member of the American Prosthodontic Society, Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and past Chair of the The American College of Prosthodontists Dental Technician Alliance. Robert has received several industry awards,

published numerous articles on removable prosthodontics and writes a technical column for Inside Dental Technology.

Dr. Charles Goodacre, DDS, MSD, FACP

Dr. Goodacre was Chair of the Department of Prosthodontics at Indiana University and served as Dean of the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry from 1994 to 2013. Dr. Goodacre was an editor of the International Journal of Prosthodontics and is a founding board member of the Foundation for Oral Rehabilitation (FOR.org). He has been

extensively involved in the development of interactive, navigable electronic education programs on topics such as “3D Tooth Atlas”, “3D Cranial Nerves and Brain Stem” and “Oral Cancer Screening”. Dr. Goodacre is currently a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and past president of the Academy of Prosthodontics, the American College of Prosthodontics and the American Board of Prosthodontics.

Dr. Steve Parel, DDS, FACP

Dr. Parel was a faculty member in the University of Texas System in 1975, and full professor in the San Antonio Medical and Dental Schools in 1978. He served as head of the Maxillofacial Prosthetics Division in the Department of Prosthodontics until 1991, which was followed by 7 years of private practice in prosthetic and implant dentistry.

He was Director for Osseointegration Training at the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Dentistry in San Antonio and professor at Baylor College of Dentistry, Texas A&M University System Health Science Center and Director of the Center of Oral Maxillofacial Prosthodontics in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery/Pharmacology. He recently was the Director of Prosthodontics at a private Implant Specialty Clinic in Dallas, Texas.

Dr. Michael A. Pikos, DDS

Dr. Pikos is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry, and Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor, Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at The Ohio State University College

of Dentistry and Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Pikos is on the Editorial Board of the following journals: Implant Dentistry, Case Reports in Dentistry, and the Journal of Implant and Advanced Clinical Dentistry. Dr. Pikos is founder and CEO of the Pikos Institute and he maintains a private practice which is limited exclusively to implant surgery in Palm Harbor, Florida.
