HOW DOES MM BUILD COMMUNITY? Greeting: Start meeting with hand shake or other type

of greeting. (Examples)

Communicate: Teach students how to take turns speaking in the group, reflect on what is shared, and how to respond with respect.

Interview: Teach students to tell a story using interesting details. Then the audience practices “Comments and Questions” relevant to the story shared.

Share & Respond: Students share journal entries, current events and other items for discussion.

Set Expectations: Review the agenda and learning objectives for the day. Ready-Set-Go!
